Guten Tag, I am Admiral Alexander Arnold, Admiral der Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr.
I would like to inform you that the Rheinwehr and Marinenachrichtendienst will be arriving at the previously abandoned Bautzen Station in Dresden and will be reinforcing our presence in the area. Our forward scouts have indicated Bundschuh's presence on board, you have our deepest gratitude for keeping the base operational and in decent shape all this time! We will be more than happy to provide financial compensation for any maintenance costs incurred and will provide any supplies and logistical assistance or reimbursement for relocation costs that your people will require.
Hochachtungsvoll,
Alexander Arnold
Admiral der Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr
Regarding that "compensation"? Sure thing, we do indeed accept donations, send two billion credits to A.Schaumann.
We don't nor can guarantee that the Hessians won't try to turn every ship you send outside the mine field into scrap, though, you know how they are... Not very talkative, they let someone else go through the smoke to figure out what was going on. But I'm sure your folks from the MND already got "intel" about that, right?
Anyhow, best of luck to your people in this ordeal, you'll need it.

Esteemed Admiralty of the Rheinwehr,
I must admit that I was quite perplexed when I was informed of your message. I do not know whether it is the absurdity of the described undertaking, or the equally absurd demand of the High Command, which has made me and my fellow activists wondering.
It must have escaped our notice that the armed wing of Rheinland capital must have received an injection of financial resources which, without a doubt, exceeds the government's efforts to provide for the people by a millionfold. I have no other explanation for this charade.
To clear up all ambiguities, let us undertake a joint course in military strategy, Admiral.
Dresden is a moribund system. A lack of any resources worth mentioning that might be of importance to the capital owners of the Rheinland aristocracy. Bautzen, in particular, is in a desolate state, I certainly do not have to put on a theatrical performance to suggest to you that any activist is particularly keen on being stationed there. Bautzen has neither economic nor strategic value, not to you to say the least.
Of course, the Rheinwehr war machine may venture into the system, forfit the lives of its soldiers, and in a ghastly guerrilla war recapture this system, or initially, certain sectors. At what cost, however?
Not to mention the resulting ongoing battles that will have to be fought with the Hessians and the Coalition. In short, it should be clear to the masterminds of the Rhineland military that this operation, let it be successful, will be of no benefit whatsoever to the interests of the donors in the nation.
With regards,

Paul Botzler,
We are pleased there is no attachment to Bautzen from your party, and you have nothing to worry about - this is a mere small scale assessment mission of the station, we are glad you leave it up to the Rheinwehr.
In fact, perhaps you have information we are lacking? Do you mind revealing information, locations and strengths of the Hessian presence in the system that worries you so? Perhaps we might reconsider the viability of this small scale Bautzen mission if larger scale Hessian and Coalition presence is confirmed with concrete evidence, from our initial assessments it appears no specific Hessian bastion remains in the system and they have likely fled into the deep Omegas after their complete defeat in Cologne.
Hochachtungsvoll,
Alexander Arnold

Esteemed Admiralty of the Rheinwehr,
You must have mistaken me, Bautzen is of no tactical importance to the military, what use the station is to elements outside the Armed Forces, I leave to your naval intelligence. It would be naive to think we would surrender the station without a fight, but it would be even more naive to think a victory is of any significance to the Rheinwehr, but I did elaborate on that. Of course, I would have expected a man of your rank and reputation to appreciate a wisely chosen retreat. The strategic education within the ranks of the Bundschuh seems to exceed that of yours in this case.
Since your initial investigations do not reveal any danger in this operation, I would naturally not like to deaden the mood of departure in your higher ranks. If this is indeed the result of the fabled MND's investigations, the Bundschuh and other elements in Rheinland may from now on sleep soundly. In that case, I leave you and the lost souls you call your soldiers to man-created fate.
Remember our warning, an act that you and your co-conspirators will consider benevolent in retrospect.
With regards,
Paul Botzler
