As you are our best partner in Bretonian space, I will follow the course of full disclosure of our ongoing operations in Dublin.
Yes, our transports have been entering the Dublin System with intent to purchase gold. Taking into consideration our regular supply lines had been disrupted by aftermath of The Pulse and apocalyptic collapse of gold market Sirius-wide, Admiralty and our logistic chiefs have authorised creation of a strategic reserve of war materiel. Gold is used in our industry, in particular corrosion resistant electronics and hull covers that have to endure hazardous spatial anomalies found Sirius-wide. Similar efforts are underway in Sigmas, Omegas and other locales where our purchasing power is not as heavily restricted by local hostilities.
Our normal supplier used to be Independent Miner’s Guild from the Hood. Their pro-worker stance, more sustainable practices and flexible diplomacy made them very competent and likeable partners. Alas, Hood had been destroyed and with that IMG’s entire presence in Dublin had been erased. This leaves us effectively with three options: haggle for stolen gold from the Corsairs, pay premium mark-up for the largely unreliable smugglers or… you guessed it, the Mollies. We have no formal diplomatic arrangements with Mollys of Dublin besides tentative permission to come in and out for trade.
You guessed right, we do not know of any tangible connection between Technocrats and The Assembly. If you know more about this, I would like to hear it and see the evidence. However in any case we are not as able to influence and exert continuous pressure in your part of Sirius as we possibly could elsewhere. We prefer to maintain amiable contact with as many political entities as possible, due to our interest in the struggle against Nomads that threaten us all, rather than human-to-human conflict. Bretonia due to its specific location is a realm of informants, undercover operatives at the very fringe of our network and occasional far-flung task forces far from home. Therefore, I would suggest applying soft influence of carrot and stick, rather than punitive, hard influence that could result in them embracing Auxesia more readily.
From our side, we wish to also inquire concerning your own standing with the Mollys. Struggle of Dublin and Gaia had been - largely to the outside observers such as us - regarded as separate with little to no connection or interaction. Also, colour me surprised how eagerly you had taken into monitoring any suspicious Auxesian activity. Believe me when I say it, but I will remember that next time a query or request passes my desk with your movement’s name on the paper. I hope I answered your query, but I stand ready to clarify any further inquiries you may have.
From: Flora, Gaians To: Order Overwatch. Encryption: Quite so Subject: Assembly
Admiral.
It's difficult to not take notice of people coming at you guns blazing. Besides, them and us have a history in the destruction of our outpost in Inverness. Regardless, if you think a softer approach is the way to go, I will defer to your judgement. But we do not want to risk Nomad influence spreading into Bretonia. If the Assembly ends up enabling Technocrat, and subsequently Nomad, activity in Bretonia to grow, we will have to respond accordingly.
Our relationship with the Mollys has always been largely nonexistent. We kept to ourselves and didn't bother one another. We had a rocky start with the Assembly, as their opening act was a strike into Edinburgh, but we have worked out our differences since. Similarly to you, we have gained permission to enter Dublin for the acquisition of gold, but otherwise leave them be. The feelings seem mutual, for now.
The evidence will be attached to the message. For what it's worth, I have noted the presence of two Nomad snubcraft in Cortez, departing Magellan, shortly before I entered and stumbled upon the party.
I would like to know more about your plan, admiral.

[22.09.2023 21:47:37] A/)-RV-Pentation: And yet another contact
[22.09.2023 21:47:38] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: *Sigh* We save an Insurgent one day, blast one the next.
[22.09.2023 21:47:42] A/)-Revenant: Some seemed to be... well. Less insane.
[22.09.2023 21:47:46] A/)-Wisp: Such a idiot
[22.09.2023 21:47:50] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Guess that one lost his rocker.
[22.09.2023 21:47:51] A/)-Wisp: an*
[22.09.2023 21:47:51] A/)-RV-Pentation: I don't read either
[22.09.2023 21:48:00] A/)-RV-Pentation: Probably some insane captain would do this to us
[22.09.2023 21:48:03] A/)-Revenant: I don't know why, but ever since those Separatists came in, they became far more mentally unsound.
[22.09.2023 21:48:22] A/)-Revenant: Some are friendly.
[22.09.2023 21:48:29] A/)-Revenant: Some are outright hostile, with borderline feral behaviour.
[22.09.2023 21:48:40] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Still. Thats that. Weren't going to leave you to handle it alone. Though i doubt it would have troubled you either way.
[22.09.2023 21:48:52] A/)-Revenant: I appreciate the help
[22.09.2023 21:48:57] A/)-Wisp: Thanks for the assist
[22.09.2023 21:49:02] A/)-RV-Pentation: Your help is much appreciated, Mollys
[22.09.2023 21:49:25] A/)-RV-Pentation: There's one of the Gaian contacts at my position
[22.09.2023 21:49:31] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Never hurts to back up diplomacy with a bit of action.
[22.09.2023 21:49:37] A/)-Revenant: Disregard unless hostile.
[22.09.2023 21:49:48] A/)-Revenant: What do you want, Gaian?
[22.09.2023 21:49:51] A/)-RV-Pentation: It could probably eavesdrop on us
[22.09.2023 21:50:30] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Your comms broken Greenie or what....
[22.09.2023 21:50:49] Black.Orchid: They're working fine, thank you.
[22.09.2023 21:50:59] A/)-Revenant: Repeating, why are you here?
[22.09.2023 21:51:00] Black.Orchid: Just not in a talking mood, is all.
[22.09.2023 21:51:14] Black.Orchid: I'm here on my own personal business.
[22.09.2023 21:51:33] A/)-Revenant: Which involves peering at us?
[22.09.2023 21:51:41] Black.Orchid: Among other things, yes.
[22.09.2023 21:52:00] A/)-Revenant: It seems your suspicions were correct, Pentation.
[22.09.2023 21:52:00] A/)-RV-Pentation: Yeah, this isn't quite the nicest type
[22.09.2023 21:52:30] A/)-RV-Pentation: Ever since I had to contend with the random Gaian in Inverness
[22.09.2023 21:52:51] A/)-Revenant: You can do your 'personal business' elsewhere then.
[22.09.2023 21:52:55] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Heh... Funny enough it was Gaians involved when we stepped in to help an Insurgency ship other day.
[22.09.2023 21:53:13] Black.Orchid: It's not up to you to decide where I handle my personal business.
[22.09.2023 21:53:17] A/)-RV-Pentation: You did shoot one of them recently
[22.09.2023 21:53:19] A/)-Wisp: They are a weird grop
[22.09.2023 21:53:21] Black.Orchid: Up to the good folks at Mactan around these parts, actually.
[22.09.2023 21:53:21] A/)-Revenant: If it involves peering on me, it does.
[22.09.2023 21:53:32] RPA|Derwydd: Funnily enough, it -could- be. We've the armaments that says so.
[22.09.2023 21:53:47] Black.Orchid: Oh really, you do?
[22.09.2023 21:53:49] A/)-Revenant: Mmm, I'm sure I can find a good motivation for you to change your ways.
[22.09.2023 21:54:13] A/)-Revenant: Seeing how as you've said yourself you aren't feeling talkative.
[22.09.2023 21:54:19] A/)-Revenant: Why else would we want you around?
[22.09.2023 21:54:37] Black.Orchid: I don't particularly care whether you want me around or not.
[22.09.2023 21:54:45] Black.Orchid: Feel free to leave it I bother you that much.
[22.09.2023 21:54:58] A/)-Revenant: I don't like being spied on.
[22.09.2023 21:55:07] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: This ones about as charming as any of the Green Movement aren't they.
[22.09.2023 21:55:08] Black.Orchid: Then public spaces are not the place to be.
[22.09.2023 21:55:28] A/)-RV-Pentation: It's plain obvious this one came on its own volition
[22.09.2023 21:55:29] A/)-Revenant: You said so yourself that it involved me.
[22.09.2023 21:55:38] A/)-Revenant: Don't twist your words, Corsair-loving filth.
[22.09.2023 21:55:43] A/)-Revenant: Don't think I didn't see your equipment.
[22.09.2023 21:55:46] A/)-Revenant: Get out of here.
[22.09.2023 21:55:54] Black.Orchid: Or what?
[22.09.2023 21:56:01] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Second to that. We've got no love for the Corsairs, especially after Cork
[22.09.2023 21:56:12] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Nor their two-bit camp followers.
[22.09.2023 21:56:22] A/)-RV-Pentation: I always despise Corsairs on my neighborhood, that's for sure
[22.09.2023 21:56:34] A/)-RV-Pentation: They've interrupted me many times already
[22.09.2023 21:56:36] A/)-Revenant: I'll give you five seconds to realise that you can engage your cruise engines and fly away.
[22.09.2023 21:56:47] Black.Orchid: Don't bother, I'm not going to.
[22.09.2023 21:57:00] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Well, that makes it easy then, doesn't it?
[22.09.2023 21:58:11] A/)-RV-Pentation: It's obvious more than five seconds have passed, Gaian
[22.09.2023 21:58:12] A/)-Revenant: Pentation, would you like to join me on this compelling argument to get them to leave?
[22.09.2023 21:58:25] Black.Orchid: Oh, you need a gunboat for that?
[22.09.2023 21:58:30] A/)-RV-Pentation: Uh, I don't feel like going to
[22.09.2023 21:58:31] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Not feeling mighty charitable myself today either.
[22.09.2023 21:58:47] A/)-Revenant: Awfully brave.
[22.09.2023 21:58:57] A/)-RV-Pentation: I am a researcher, not a combat pilot
[22.09.2023 21:59:04] A/)-Revenant: Feel free to add in your compelling argument.
[22.09.2023 21:59:12] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Aye, sod this.
[22.09.2023 21:59:14] A/)-RV-Pentation: But it's time to defend. Weapons free!
[22.09.2023 21:59:25] RPA|Derwydd: Extra firepower is always compelling enough.
[22.09.2023 21:59:26] A/)-Revenant: I will leave a note; feel free to leave.
[22.09.2023 21:59:32] A/)-Revenant: I won't stop you from it.
[22.09.2023 21:59:33] RPA|Derwydd: Beat the bastard till he learns not to come round no more.
[22.09.2023 21:59:52] RPA|Cedrik.Cadigan: Withdraw to your garden, greenie!
[22.09.2023 21:59:53] A/)-Revenant: Why does he insist on staying?
[22.09.2023 21:59:57] A/)-Revenant: I told you.
[22.09.2023 21:59:59] A/)-Revenant: You can cruise, to leave.
[22.09.2023 22:00:11] A/)-Revenant: Goodness.
I understand and express late condolences over your depot and crew that manned it. We ourselves had to scale down our operations in-system from permanent presence to avoid sharing similar fate. Unexplained aggression is common behaviour of Auxesia. They had to our knowledge backstabbed Core, Liberty Navy, Crayterians and Insurgency… list is likely incomplete. As for the Mollys…
Trade relations, for starters. We will be needing that gold sooner or later and Mollys are the only reliable source of gold in bulk. Whatever we bring in, will be used to keep Bretonians off-balance and lets admit both you, Mollys and us are on the “wrong” side of the law. Taking into consideration your previous words about peace existing between your two groups, Bretonian focus on the blockade grants Gaians some breathing room to operate. Once we gain their tentative trust, we can start steering their opinions towards the pro-Order stance ever so subtly. Furthermore, it is imperative to set up screening services in Dublin: the very same that we installed on your own installations.
In the worst scenario, we will at least be able to monitor the situation on-site and react as necessary. In best case, Mollys will naturally gravitate towards The Order sphere of influence on their own, become willing collaborators and limit their exposure towards Auxesia. One of the unjustly discarded doctrines of the Liberty warmachine of old is “Hearts and Minds”. I believe it may be the best case here.
