Incoming Transmission Liberty Navy, 1st Fleet Commander Lillian Olson
Capt. Rachel Baker, Liberty Navy Reserves.
Your recent return to Liberty and subsequent re-enlistment in the reserves has been noted. Before anything else, allow me to welcome you home. Liberty remembers and thanks you for your invaluable service.
With that in mind, I have been authorised by high command to offer you voluntary, and I must stress purely voluntary, reinstatement to Active Service status in the 1st Fleet, keeping the rank of Captain. While I am unsure what news escapes to the Omicrons and through what lens it is filtered, I am sure you are aware that Liberty faces myriad threats both external and internal, and both leadership and experience such as your own is irreplaceable in these trying times.
You will, of course, receive standard reenlistment bonuses, as well as permission to transfer the Bunker Hill and her crew back into the fold of the 1st. Should you require any additional assistance readjusting to a command environment, we are willing to accommodate any such request within reason.
On a more personal note, both myself and many of the new guard grew up seeing you on recruitment posters. It would mean a lot to a lot of us to see you come back. I look forward to your response.

Commander Olson, good morning.
I'll admit, I'm somewhat surprised that High Command had you reach out to me like this, but the stated reasoning does make sense to me.
If I'm being honest, I wasn't anticipating a resumption of my career in the Active Service, or the First Fleet, but if High Command believes that I have something to offer by serving the Republic in this way again, I will accept such a transfer.
As for the Bunker Hill and her crew, I will need to arrange transfers for those aboard who don't have a desire to enter the Active Service, as I won't force them to do so.
One last thing...[she lets out a quiet laugh, barely audible on the recording]. I'd forgotten they ever featured me on posters, but I hope they looked good.
Commander, it was...nice? receiving this message from you. I look forward to meeting, and serving with you.

Capt. Rachel Baker, Liberty Navy 1st Fleet.
Consider the transfers arranged; we aren't in the business of drafting those who have no desire to commit to active service. Report to Norfolk Shipyard at 0800 hours tomorrow and you and your crew who will be joining you will be sworn in.
I consider it an honour to be able to say welcome back to the First Fleet, Captain Baker. Do not hesitate to contact myself or the Admiralty if there is anything further you require.
