To whom it may concern,
My name is Leo Knightfall, I'm a simple Junker operating under the flag of the Lone Star Scrappers in Texas and Bering. Due to the Premium Scrap fields drying up after all these years, we're looking to branch out into other sectors of space and wanted to see about offering you all first dibs at Scrap refined into more useable parts for your bases and ships.
We've heard some rumors about a scrap field near the Hood that might have the necessary quality required for refinement and wanted to take a look to see. Though, we wanted to ask permission first before trapezing into your region of space. No sense getting off on the wrong foot right away, you see.
I operate the Knightfall as well as the Reasonable.Excuse (a Salvager and Gunship respectively). I can make the trip from Bering to Dublin to see if this field has the requisite amount of quality required and we can go from there. It goes without saying that we also can provide other...supplies if so desired...if you catch my meaning.
Let us know, we're interested in working with you.

Well, its a rare day indeed some Junkers grace my desk.
Glad to hear from you, Mister Knightfall.
As it so happens, i had been humouring the idea of trying to contact some Junkers for other purposes as of late. But the Congress seems rather insular these days, and i had put the matter aside, but your existence and communication does provide rather the bright moment to the day.
You'd be correct, Mister Knightfall, there is a not insignificant field of debris in Dublin, the remains of the battle between the Battlecruisers Blackrock and Carillon, both of whom the movement rendered wreckages. While we have picked over the field on and off, such matters are not entirely within our expertiese, and truthfully we have little reason to believe there is much of technological worth to salvage from the wrecks.
I think it would be quite acceptable for you to come down Dublin way and scout the area out. We'll certainly have more fields of scrap around Dublin if we have our way with Bretonia, and more aid with supplies of various origin can always be appreciated.
I will inform the Assembly and other unaffiliated Mollys - Though i will confess i cannot order the independents to do anything, and they are not obligated to follow my suggestions - to leave your vessels be.
All i will ask is if it seems that there are useful objects of salvage and restoration - as opposed to simple recycable scrap - that you let us know. Besides that, feel free to come and examine the field at your convenience, and we can talk further from there if you believe you and your Kin can make work out of it.

Chancellor,
It's an honor to meet your acquaintance.
We arrived this morning to sort through the field you mentioned and did find scrap in the field. However, as you mentioned, there was not much there. The quality of the scrap in said field was sparse to say the least. It took us quite a bit longer than normal to find any useful metal there. While that is the case, our journey here was not wasted. While it took longer than normal to generate a full hold of metal, we were able to do so; meaning that it is possible to use this field to smelt useful scrap for your purposes...unless you are aware of another field that we might investigate.
In light of the assessment of the scrap field within Dublin, here is what we propose as future cooperation between our two organizations. Please feel free to adjust to your liking:
The development and deployment of a small outpost (Core-1 or Core-2) within or nearby the field for the uses of smelting the scrap in question.
RPA oversight onboard the station with access to all systems.
Any items found other than Scrap are to be reported to the RPA.
RPA has first "dibs" on any premium item located within the fields.
Basic Alloy is tradable at a 1:1 ratio for refined Gold.
This way instead of paying credits for repair materials, you can simply trade Gold.
Our transports will then move this Gold to other regions and bring back items requested by the RPA.
Additionally, any excess Toxic Waste can be brought to this outpost in order to create fuel for both the outpost and any processes that you require for your own refineries.
5,000 - 10,000* MOX fuel will be reserved for refinery fuel.
Any excess MOX will be available for sale.
The outpost will retain 10,000* Basic Alloy at any time for repairs of the outpost.
Any Basic Alloy that exceeds 10,000 will be available for sale.
LSS welcomes any assistance from the RPA concerning Hydroponics. We should have this covered, however.
As stated, this offer is very flexible and we are amenable to any adjustments you might have for the future cooperation of our two organizations. If you wish to speak in person, I am presently holed up on the Hood, drinking them out of Bourbon. I look forward to hearing back.

It has been many years since we last spoke. I'm sure you've been busy if the news was to be believed. Which is the reason for our...silence over these past few years. No sense in contacting you when you have other priorities.
We took a stroll into Dublin today and noticed the...how do I put this...delicious scrap field where the New London Jump gate used to be. This would be perfect to mine scrap in. We took a sample of the Scrap Metal there and were surprised to note it's purity.
What's more, is we have the opportunity to move one of our stations due to interference from a Jump hole that has moved closer to our location and is causing damage to the station. We could move this base piece by piece into an area nearby and setup a Scrap Refinery there to aid you in the repair of stations and vessels within Dublin. True, our cousins in New London have a cheaper price, but as indicated before in my communication, we could simply trade refined Gold for Basic Alloy.
Let me know if I'm being too forward here, but these circumstances present the perfect opportunity to work together. We're open to alternative counter-points from your side, of course.
I'd say I would be on the Hood enjoying a drink, but with my favorite drinking hole being...reduced to what it is, I'll be at Trafalgar in New London if you want to chat in person. Just ask the Bartender for Knightfall and hope he doesn't try to get you to pay my tab.
Until then.

Evenin' Mister Knightfall.
This'll be a short one i'm afraid, the Assembly's envoy ship is passing its way through NL so i caught your transmission, it'll be a short bit before the main command gets ahold of it, what with the Neural Net limitations in Dublin right now.
Aye, we've been busy. And i'm sure you and your Kin can make much use of the New London gate, but i'm afraid i've got other matters to handle.
I've shot a message back to the Command and they'll pass it over, but its in their hands how things go from here.
Just know that you're not forgotten, and your contact is appreciated, even if we are a bit slow at the moment, aye lad?
Oh, and keep your eyes careful around Dublin Mister Knightfall. Theres Corsairs about, as i'm sure you noticed.
Cretan Bastards.
Safe Flights to you and your Kin Mister Knightfall.
From: Chancellor Jac Yarwood To: Mister Knightfall Subject: Situation Update.
Mister Knightfall.
Apologies for the delay, with the gate good and bollocksed communication in and out of Dublin is a bit slow, aye?
I've managed to have a chat with the commanders and finance minister, and while they're a bit dubious on some of the terms of our previously outlined potential agreement, we'd be more than fine with you and your Kin dropping down a scrapping base near the wrecked gate.
You'll find our own refinery, Connacht Depot, has moved nearby as well, so long as your place is trading at competitive price, we'll gladly take the convenience of a local base, rather than risking the blockade out to Trafalgar, and if you happen to pick up some MOX refining, well, Arranmor's got plenty of waste, and Connacht itself is spitting out a good amount of byproduct from melting the gold down.
Any further in depth discussions are likely better had between yourself and the manager of Connacht, Minister Burns, just make sure any Kin you send into Dublin are aware of the fact that they might not get to leave that often, the blockade can get intense, aye?
Safe Flights to you and your Kin Mister Knightfall.

Greetings Chancellor,
This is good news! We will get started as soon as we obtain all the required materials and sneak in under the watch of the armed forces. The refinery name will be Rathmines Refinery so once you see it up, we'll get started on getting those systems online. Currently planned is:
Scrap Refinery
MOX Production (feel free to drop off your Toxic Waste and we'll get it converted for you.)
Storage Module
No room for a Hydroponics bay, unfortunately. However, if things go well, we might have more room in the future.
Looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with you ladies and gents. One of my gals even mentioned she got some good pieces of Corsair scrap the other day after a particularly fierce battle...and you know how we love our scrap.
You ever need me, reach out to me on this channel. Would be glad to help.

Greetings Chancellor,
As you might have noticed, we have begun construction of Rathmines Refinery, stationed near the New London Jump gate debris. Our initial construction is in the realm of upgrading the ships self-sufficiency model with Hydroponics and storage as well as a system upgrade. After that is completed, we will begin work on the scrap refinery as well as a MOX Plant, followed by two additional storage modules to round out the installation.

We have no further plans to expand the base beyond Core-2 due to constraints on our supply lines at present, but an upgrade to Core-3 is not out of the question. Please let me know of any questions, comments, or concerns in relation to Rathmines Refinery, and I will be happy to assist.
