Reproduction Steps:

Jump out of Sigma-19 JH for convenience
Look directly at a nearby star. It's almost invisible
Look a bit away. It appears again

Its been virtually so since vanilla. I will investigate if there a way to fix this but otherwise consider as invalid (not a bug but a feature).
