Links in Wiki Pages

Alright, we've got 727 (now 715) Wanted Pages on the wiki.. Many of these are because people make links that are either misspelled, plural when should be singular, singular when should be plural, or a myriad of other reasons.. Thats understandable, and it happens. However, please don't link character names unless that character's player is willing to make a page for the character at the same time. Whenever you make a link to a page that doesn't exist, that gets put into the Wanted Pages category.. I've no problem with people making pages for their characters, just don't link to those pages until/unless you make them..

Its hard to go and make those pages and/or fix/redirect links when you've got to wade through links that should've just stayed normal text. Not going off on anyone at the moment, just want to ask for people not to do it in the future or if you do, make the page too.





Oh, and check your links after you make'em. Use search to see if a page already exists that you want to link to, so you can find the proper link name. If you need to make the text different from the link (Gas Miners Guild be the acronym, GMG instead of the full name for example, then use [[Gas Miners Guild|GMG]]. So its [[page name|text]]

It's ok. I used to check things and change them manually. I also made many redirect pages so that Full names AND initials could be used.

I am a "wiki grammar and spelling nazi". These things will not go unnoticed. Now that I'm back these will get the wiki eagle eye. (I'm sure there are more people out there doing teh same, I'm just stating what I'll do.)
