To the attention of Order High Command.

After reading through it, you will believe me why it should be redacted and disclosed per your discretion rather than reported to appropriate channels. Incident revolves around the 10/10/833 incident in Omicron Mu involving a Freelancer, Rogue and Liberty Navy. I will only brush at the first briefly to get to the actually classified section.

Gunboat Luxor was patrolling Omicron Mu per standard procedure, encountering a Freelancer designated Torro, piloting one of these new expensive Kusarian fighters. Offering lenience, we permitted Freelancer to leave the way it came under condition Torro would not return. After compliance, Luxor began anti-fighter drills at a number of weaker Nomad fighters swarming in vicinity of the jumphole. When those targets had been dispatched, Torro had returned, presuming us to depart already. I ordered Luxor to engage and destroy Torro with extreme prejudice. In the end, Torro had been incinerated in Omicron Mu’s main star corona in a last ditch attempt to evade us. Too far in to recover anything of value. I would like to note that officer Mattheus Licht from the defunct Orillion taskforce stood up to the task and joined the sweep against this intruder, and interlopers to follow.

Earhart

Following that, we had received what could potentially be identified as a system wide distress call. We naturally began to sweep around the system, encountering a Rogue and Naval fighter on the outskirts of Nebet sub-system. To note, present were operatives Licht and Vagabond of the ‘Eight’. We had established the following line of events after interrogating the Naval vessel, belonging to Commodore Hvitrnott. I would like to note Commodore was forthcoming about relinquishing an immense trove of information to The Order.

Liberty Navy is presumed to be exploring a system beyond SUPERGATE, located in Alaska.
Kusari is rumoured to possess its own entry. How this is the case, remains unclear to both us and Liberty. This angle needs to be researched further.
System is designated Earhart. Its precise location cannot be established at the current date.
Earhart is littered with gates of non-human origin and as later disclosed, protected by some kind of automated, long range defence systems. Also of non-human origin.
Supergate can be presumed to be one-way only, with egress point located in Omicron Minor. While this may imply Earhart is somewhere between Omicrons and Liberty, the egress point is alleged to be random. Other possible exits consisted of Cortez and Vespucci, however it is unclear whether those remain an option nowadays.
Rogue ships, composed of at least one freighter and a bomber were intercepted by Liberty Navy in Earhart. Bomber had fled to Minor, and then Mu, all while being chased by Commodore Hvitrnott. Explanation is logical to me, even with such outlandish claims stated already. Rogue was equipped with a cloaking device and is not available for interrogation. Subject perished with the ship. We chose not to intervene in combat between Commodore and the Rogue.
A fleet, lead by Admiral Cleveland had entered Omicron Mu and announced its intention to recover Commodore Hvitrnott. After brief negotiations, Liberty Navy remained confined to a small sphere around the Omicron Minor jumphole. They remained cooperative and peaceful during the entire process, though the idea of having their battlegroup located in Mu was unnerving.
Upon collecting any and all information we could had from the Commodore, we escorted Commodore safely to rejoin Liberty battlegroup. Admiral Cleveland was particularly interested in communication with Admiral Golanski. After exchanging some more words, Liberty reassured us that they are not interested in combat and peacefully withdrew as requested. We had offered escort to Alaska as courtesy, Liberty Command had accepted.
Additional information: Liberty Navy had deployed its new toy:LNS Akhetaten. It appears to conform to the configuration of a battlecruiser despite its immense size presumed to rival that of an Osiris. I have attached information and scans below for you as well.

Logs will be attached below for more comprehensive study. I leave the matter in the hands of the Admiralty. Furthermore it should be noted, S8 posses full knowledge of events at hand. Licht, only partially and contained to monitoring Admiral Cleveland's battlegroup.

To say your patrol was eventful would be an understatement, the intel you brought back is being closely examined by the High Command as we speak.
That said, even the chance of such a system existing and, more importantly, containing Nomad structures cannot be ignored.
Furthermore, they mentioned alien gates, suggesting this 'Earhart' is connected to more than just Liberty, Kusari and our former home, who knows what else might be found.

Considering this 'jumping technology" is so new I don't expect it to be an option for us in the foreseeable future unless we get our hands on some of the Kusarian tech to reproduce, even if we did however I don't particularly feel like ordering parts of our fleet to start 'blind jumping' based on hearsay, god only knows where they'd end up if the intel proves faulty.
If we could confirm the system exists however, and it indeed contains Nomad structures, then maybe it might be worth a test.

Liberty's new vessel the Akhetaten looks to be quite formidable, it stands to reason Liberty would upgrade their fleet over the last few years, much like we did with the Horus class line of Osiris vessels. You did well in obtaining information about this new class.

We will reach out to the Liberty Navy through our "official" channels and see what information they are willing to share, rest assured however the High Command intends to investigate this matter closely.
