NCC Minister of Economy and Commerce Monsignor Charles Richelieu
Greetings:
It has come to my knowledge that you are an autonomous company that is dedicated to providing any type of materials or commodities practically anywhere in Sirius. I would like to contact you to hire your services for a one-time job, for now.
Our community is established on Planet Pygar, and we're currently starting expansion works of our settlement, but we lack some things that we need to bring here. They are not items difficult to find, but the two transports that make up our small trading division are in travel fulfilling other tasks, so we don't have the capacity in this moment to take care of the supply ourselves, and we're very interested in starting the works as soon as possible.
These are the elements we need, and in what quantity:
Solar Panels: 100 standard commercial units.
Biodome Materials: 300 standard commercial units.
Fertilizers: 200 standard commercial units.
As you will see, they are not large quantities, so if you have a freighter-size ship, It would be great if you could take them directly to the settlement, so we wouldn't have to send any shuttles to the planet's mooring fixture. However, if necessary we can do it.
If MRI is interested in this assignment, please contact me through this channel, and we will talk about your fees.
Regards, and Deux be with you.

Greetings, Monsignor,
I have to admit, your message took me by surprise a bit. In a good way of course, I certainly wasn't expecting any contracts to come our way on their own just yet.
But yes, you heard right. While our "sales pitch" might be a tad bit exaggarated at times, we deffinitely aim to provide anything everywhere, should the profits outweight the risks. We can certainly talk business and we'd be happy to supply you with the materials requested. Since you're the one who made the contact it only seems fair to me to let you make the initial offer. What prices would you consider fair for the cargo you requested?
NCC Minister of Economy and Commerce Monsignor Charles Richelieu
Ah, Mr. McRory! How quick in your response, it's clear that you're a man who doesn't waste time.
Are you surprised that I heard about your company? Well, the truth is that the information has come to me through the second officer of one of my trading ships, who in turn heard it from some Core pilots at the Nauru Terminal cantine in Delta. We've never needed any outside company to do transportation for us, and I won't lie, I turned to MRI because it's the first one that came to mind since I just heard about it for the first time, and I like to check what I hear for myself.
But let's talk about work. You say that I should set the price of your fees, since I'm the one who contacted you. It's... irregular, but maybe not so irregular since that's what your company is called.
Alright. The order is not very large, and may not be too profitable for you, due to the basic nature of the merchandise. However, we are really interested in receiving the merchandise as soon as possible, so I am going to offer you 500,000 SC.
Please tell me if this is acceptable, straight up.
Regards, and Deux be with you.

Monsignor Richelieu,
you certainly know how to get my attention! 500 000 credits? My, my.
I'll be honest with you, monsignor, I let your state the price so I could gauge you as a potential customer. Omicrons are dangerous space on their own, even if one doesn't consider corsairs, nomads and other pests, or so my brother says, so I wanted to see how serious you are about your proposal. Well it would apear you are very serious about it, your offer is more than generous for a shipement of this size and composition. So generous in fact, I would feel like a thief, should I accept it. We'll take this contract and we'll require no more than 100 000 SC for the delivered materials.
Now, in reagards of the delivery, we currently don't operate any freighters, but we have always planned to do so, and this is as good oportunity as any to start. We'll deliver the goods directly to your settlement, though it will mean a slight delay since we'll have to purchase and outfit the ship in the first place. That being said, we should still be able to get the shipement to you within the next 48 hours. Well'll notify your office when the delivery has been made.
NCC Minister of Economy and Commerce Monsignor Charles Richelieu
Mr. MacRory:
Your honesty moves me, sincerely. I see that I have not been wrong in requesting your services.
The fact that you want to reduce the price I've offered indicates that you are not a pirate, but rather a truly principled trader, which leads me to be sure that you will be the first on my call list when we need more transportation of something we cannot transport ourselves.
I know that what I've made you is a generous offer, but I needed to make clear the interest we have in this shipment. I also believe that, in a first business contact, it's also important to make the other party see that you are not trying to waste their time.
I accept the price reduction, and I thank you for it, but I'm one of those who think that honesty, a rare quality these days, should always be rewarded in some way. Additionally, we must keep in mind that you have to acquire a freighter to be able to take the merchandise directly to our settlement, which is of great interest to us, and that has an obvious extra cost. It's because of all this the payment will be 200,000 SC. I hope this doesn't offend you, it's not my intention. Consider it, if you wish, a voluntary contribution to your company from a grateful customer.
About the delivery time, 48 hours is very acceptable. We'll take advantage of this time preparing the ground to start the works.
I'm attaching to this message an aerial view of our settlement, and its gegraphical coordinates, so that your freighter doesn't have to go around looking for it. Pygar is a very large planet, and its landscape is beautiful, but it's also very... similar everywhere. When your ship arrives, traffic control will tell you to land on platform B, it's not possible to get lost. My staff will be in charge of unloading the cargo, and your fees will be paid immediately, once the delivery notes are signed.
Regards, and Deux be with you.

Greetings, Monsignor,
Finnean MacRory speaking. My brother relayed to me your request, since I'm the one who's actually making sure the contracts get fullfiled. I sometimes wish he would be a bit more conservative with his time estimates, but your cargo has been delivered, shipping manifest is atttached to this mesage. Oh, and... don't mind the SynthPaste. I had a bit of a spare space so I figured I might as well take some general cargo with me.
Your payment offer is not insulting at all, and is gratefully accepted. You can wire the payment to my ships's account - [>MRI<]Ol'Reliable
I hope we see more contracts from you in the future.
NCC Minister of Economy and Commerce Monsignor Charles Richelieu
Good morning Mr. Finnean MacRory
It's a pleasure to meet you too. My ground staff informed me of the arrival of your freighter with all the correct items and in perfect condition, as can be seen in the manifest that you attached.
I appreciate the detail of filling the remaining cargo space with the Synth Paste. We are not doing badly with the crops we manage to grow under the biodomes, but it is always good to have some synthetic food for emergencies. Pygar is a planet with a still hostile environment, and the problems that can be caused by sudden storms that often develop without warning cannot always be foreseen.
I've ordered our banking services to immediately proceed with the payment of your fees, so you should already have it in the indicated account. However, I'm attaching to this message the certificate of the transfer order.
I must say, as a satisfied customer, that MRI has responded very well to the service we have entrusted to it, and that we'll turn to you again if we need any other type of transportation or supply service.
Thanks for everything, and Deux be with you in your travels.

Greetings, Monsignor,
Your payment has been received without an issue and I'm glad you're satisfied with the delivery. I wish best of lucks to you and your settlement, you certainly haven't chosen the safest of places to settle down.
And of course, should you find yourself in the need of supplies, we'll be happy to work with you again.
NCC Minister of Economy and Commerce Monsignor Charles Richelieu
Greetings gentlemen:
I hope that everything is going well for you two with your company, although given the level of professionalism that you show, I've no doubt that it will be the case.
I'm contacting you again, because I've a new job for MRI. It's something that, once again, we cannot do by ourselves, this time due to the location from where the merchandise must be brought. The shipment is something a little more serious than the previous time, although you shouldn't worry, it's nothing illegal.
We need you to place an order at Detroit Munitions in Liberty for the following items, and bring them to Pygar, like last time:
Light Weapons: 1.000 standard commercial units
Ammunition: 2.500 standard commercial units
About the light weapons, we need the order placed with Detroit Munitions to consist of the following:
Of every 100 weapons in the shipment, 5 must be positionable heavy machine guns, 5 must be portable missile launchers, 10 must be squad light machine guns, 20 must be standard caliber pistols, and the rest must be assault rifles, equipped with holographic and telescopic sights. The weapons will be loaded following these proportions until completing the mentioned 1.000 standard commercial units.
As for ammunition, simply load enough to supply the requested weapons in proportion, until completing what fits in the 2.500 standard commercial units.
This time I imagine that you will have to bring the merchandise in a larger transport, so you will have to dock at the mooring fixture on the planet. Don't worry about the nature of the shipment, and know that Planet Pygar authorities are aware of it, so there will be no problems in delivery and unloading the cargo. I simply ask you to exercise discretion during the trip, and try to avoid, as far as possible, unwanted encounters. The political situation in Theta is currently a bit tense, and we don't want it to become even more tense.
If you accept the job, please tell me the budget for your fees.
Regards, and Deux be with you.

Greetings, Monsignor,
you have a peculiar timing, peculiar indeed. We have actually been in contact with Detroit Munitions recently, so your order for their products is certainly a welcome one, as we do want to work with them. It might take a few days to negotiate the specific composition of the shipment you require, but I don't expect any trouble from their side.
Discretion is an important part of our business, so I see no issue with that either, though the additional measures needed to ensure it will have impact on the price. I ran the numbers, and after accounting for the need of dicretion, I'd put the price at 250 000 SC for the shipment. I would, however, like to reserve an option for re-negotiating the price, should Detroit Munitions decide to charge extra for prepairing the shipment to your specifications. I hope that's not an issue for you?
