Looks like I did guess right after all.

Rheinland's best defense has always been its prowess. While Liberty holds an advantage in owning Ageira Technologies, Daumann mass production and Rheinland innovation has shown to compete for the best of the best in the past.

With the success of VENOM coming from my wits end and some relic lying around in Sigma-13, I have no doubt I can cater some of ruins in Earhart to an even greater end. The Buro is in the process of manufacturing such devices already, hence our little operation in Omicron Delta.

There are other innovative designs I have in mind as well, shields, engines, and radar devices that would make the Spyglass scanner look like a cheap knockoff. The best I can do from where I stand. The defense system in Earhart near those ruins is incredibly precise and lethal. I have never seen weapons with that kind of range and precision before - ever. I have no doubt if I can get close enough to analyze them, I can design something similar.

As for the question of travel, this is something that has eluded many in Rheinland - including myself. Ageira and EFL hold a very tight monopoly over the space travel enterprise. IF the Buro were to design a means of reaching Earhart consistently with a fixed exit, I would need to call upon several other parties to get involved.

And this is where we run into my main problem - the Kaiser. The Military has been breathing down our throats ever since the reunion of Rheinland, I intend to use our W/D to keep them off our backs while I dig into this discovery further. The Kaiser has no interest in what you and I already know, all he cares about is putting people at the stake to try and defeat the Red Hessians.

I do have need of your services for this, you and the rest of your Auxesian friends. I'm curious to know if you would be willing to lend a hand, I am after all - willing to let you in on a few of the revelations.

Apologies for the delay. We've had to do several takes on our scans to ensure accuracy. It appears the shield and the natural state of Earharts... abnormalities severely impeded the readings.

From what we can gather, these sentries appear to be using some form of charged dark energy, drawing from the surrounding hyperspatial plane to channel it into a destructive high velocity payload. Unsurprisingly, the bigger the mass the target is, the easier the discharged shots has on latching on to a target with its devastating catalystic effect. Quite charming on how it cuts through anything akin to a breeze.

Scan report

Crafted by the Dom'Kavash to guard the central region of the Earhart sector, these sentries are autonomous and are protected by dense energy shields. Initial scans show diverse minerals and synthetic crystals making up the surface of the structure, but the shielding is too strong for an indepth detailed analysis.

The turrets attack all life forms with powerful dark energy shots, causing destructive chain reactions. Due to the sentries' proximity to the Anchor, disabling their shields is highly improbable due to gravitational disturbances.

We'll be able to make some great use of this, as promised I'll fill you in on what I know as of now.

Recently, a detonation was recorded within the mantle of planet Gotha - a relatively young planet in the Thuringia system. Heisenberg research station managed to catch wind of it specifically because it gave off hyperspace ripples - similar to the ones recorded shortly before another suspected fixed connection to Earhart was open.

Planet Gotha is now in a volatile state, I suspect before the end of the year the planet will fall victim to a much stronger detonation in the same location. The ripples in space may either draw something in or leave us with something advantageous.

This is all speculation though, the ins and outs of what this is likely tied to are remaining confidential for other reasons. But I highly suspect the outcome of Gotha's demise to leave us with something somewhat advantageous.

Should this prove to be the case, and should Heisenberg refuse to keep their mouths shut. This will draw the attention of several foreign entities to a very restricted part of Rheinland. I suspect the Order will begin ventures nearby, you may want to be weary of your stay in Rheinland should this prove to be the case.

Perhaps I should have clarified something, or perhaps he's intentionally utilising this fact that you are confused with who he is... Or possibly was.

Caliban and Vincent are not quite the same individual. When Empress and their cronies assassinated Vincent, his mind became scattered, damaged, harmed, forming a new alter-ego known as Caliban. He does not share all of Vincent's traits or memories, but some qualities do overlap.

And I suspect he did want to use ... Vincent's... last relationship with you to learn or gain something. I knew about your relationship before the asssassination hit on Vincent all those years ago. Whatever his motive, Vincent was still trapped within that mind of his. I figured you would want to know this...

He suddenly attempted to commit suicide. Both he and Caliban had given up entirely. But he was acting completely fine 10 minutes prior. He didn't seem to be troubled in any noticeable detail.

A part of me hopes this is a sick joke of his. He was last seen headed off to Sigma-15 by Klugmann... It may be worth keeping an eye out for his whereabouts.




On another gloomy note, what of the hyperspatial rift data you want assessed? Where are you even trying to link this experiment? And what of the map on Weimar? I must forewarn you regarding the Sentinels and urge great caution on how you proceed with the experiment, they are showing up once more. They were recently attacking civilians in Cologne, who were straying too close to anomalies near Heisenberg.

I've expanded upon what leads I can but it looks like nothing has turned up. I anticipated this might be the case considering the enemies he's made and the people he's worked for in the past.

In any case, there's not much I can do about it now, and there are too many fires in my backyard for me to chase this. If Vincent is off-pulling some scheme, it's on him at this point.

There's been a change in plans regarding the Suhl crisis. We're going to run my theory on the topic. The suspected pandora's box that will open when this occurs is something that I must refrain from spreading for now. Any indication even on this channel as to what is living on the other side will potentially draw in these "Sentinels". As long as they are kept in the dark on the matter, we can - in a relatively safe manner - execute the domino effect of events needed to be three steps ahead. The Sentinels will inevitably arrive, but I need to patch most of the wounds here before another potentially appears.
