We have seen the recent news and recordings coming from Kyushu. Utterly tragic. It bemoans me to consider the damage a traditional homeworld is taking. Worse yet the political nightmare it has seemingly sprung forth. If the reports are to be seen as true a rather sizable shake up on Kusari traditions is occuring. My, here I am as a foreigner trying to comment on a situation far from my own eyes. And this is the very reason I wished to send this transmission.
The situation is murky and confused. While I would normally enjoy offering assistance, it is highly likely that any true assistance we would be able to give would be overshadowed by your own. If, perhaps, you could lay out the situation a method could be founded. Or at least a lead into how to make an already devastating situations not grow worse. If not, at least an attempt is made. Should there be other topics of interest you would rather discuss, I am open to such as well.

It saddens me to admit but the chaos caused by the flooding of Kyushu is spreading and by now reached our top politicians. In fact, one of our Syndicates men was among those who left the Imperial Diet in protest the other day.
The situation on the Planet's surface is complex, unsurprisingly. Samura Industries launched its first reconstruction projects and relief convoys come and go from the various islands. We are unable to provide material in sufficient quantities ourselves but many Hogosha associates volunteered to help out wherever it is needed as workforce. The Hogosha Alliance opted to ensure food market stability through the necessary means instead. I suspect the Bretonian market is unable to deliver a considerable surplus of foodstuff, so we are left defending our market against Liberty's corporate giant.
As for your offer of assistance, it is a honorful and deeply appreciated gesture, however the involvement of a party such as the Gaians - viewed by some as dubious or straight up untrustworthy by those outright buying into the Bretonian Kingdoms stories - would just increase the volatile nature of this crisis.
Instead of focusing on our domestic crisis, I would like to shift your focus to a potential mutual point of interest: The Leeds system.
We already sent a few pilots out there to conduct a "market analysis" for our raiding parties.
What would your stance towards our raiding parties appearing around there be?
It brings much relief to hear that the situation is being handled by the best of hands, and I hope nothing more piles into this further. You are loosely correct, I very much doubt the Kingdom will be able to expand it's bounty of grown goods towards Kusari due to various amounts of red tape be it tariffs, import costs, or simple logistics. With Synth having already swooped in like the vultures they are, it would likely be the best option for your people. If only in the interim.
And I can understand the outsider view of us being volatile, surely, though I hope it is understood that our movement is far from an mindless extremist one. The Green Front is well enjoyed in Bretonia, perhaps the same could be said in Kusari as well, one day. I look forward to it.
Regarding Leeds. The system is a sour subject with recent history. I know i need not say it, but my birthright deems it necessary to ask you be gentle regarding it. What in specific would be your goals in that system? Purely pillaging, plundering, and general buccaneering? Something more? Something less? I would need to know a touch more detail before I can respond I am afraid.

I could not prevent myself from entering active duty to hunt down a few vessels. I have only recently returned from the Sigma Cluster.
To clarify our interest in Leeds, we see a potential market in the Halifax Freeport. We also noticed a spike in blockade runners hauling Gold from Dublin towards Kusari. Their security is of our interest and we have reason to assume that both Molly and BMM vessels are actively hunting them down, depending on who acquired the Gold through which of the two named entities. A third reason was forwarded by the Majima Family, which stated an interest in monitoring Junker activity within Bretonia. Especially in regards to a Junker operated installation within Leeds.
Sporadic contact to the Gaians would be most welcome and our vessels heading towards Bretonia could easily be convinced to take small detours with supplies for you and your movement.
Everyone is on about the gold these days. There is a saying, about how the shine of such metal drives man into madness. From the times where our people used physical currencies I assume. As for the rampant mining operation in Dublin which is producing much of it. The rebellion and their flag waving sorts are criminal at best, and I wish nothing for their sort to gain from their activities. From their barbaric ways, I doubt their treatment of miners will be that much better than Graves's treatment. I actually assume worse in the highest of irony. And I should not need explain how Bretonian Mining and Manufacturing profiting brings little towards the feeling of joy to our cause. If you intend to defend them, then our purposes shall cross and conflict ensure.
The junkers are naught a concern, yet, for a true side has not been chosen by them. They continue to play the fence that they perch on, taking on the spoils of each. And as true to its name, Halifax accepts almost all. I see no issue in your goings on there.
Do remember, however, that Leeds is Bretonian. Our people have built, grown, and prospered there for centuries. I hope I need not explain how we do not need foreign hands attempting to do more than business here. So long as that is understood, and you aid not our own targets, I hope business can be arranged in the future.
