It's been a while since we fought together to preserve your holdings on Pecos.
And it feels like it's been even longer since I've had any real contact with the Guild. From what little I've skimmed through over the net, times have been tough for you. That's not anything we're unfamiliar with but it is disheartening to see it be your plight as well.
Before I proceed any further, I'd just like to see signs of life. If anyone's on the other end of this line, we have a lot to talk about and a lot more to do.

"Cobra",
Your mention of fighting to defend our holdings got our attention. I'm familiar with neither your face nor your name, and my comrades in the Syndicate haven't been able to shed any light on the matter. Bettin' you probably haven't heard about us either, so let's do introductions.
Cobra ,
As you can see with our friends from the Syndicate the Guild is quite active. But to get back to the point this communication did come as a surprise. So shall we begin the talk?

Introductions, of course. We'll get that out of the way before I address what this is about.
I'm Damien Morreti, the currently elected Commander of the Xeno Alliance. At the outset I'm sure that doesn't inspire much confidence given the nebulous history between our organizations. Though you can find some relief in noting that my election into office years prior and subsequent reelections have carried with it a set of reforms, the systematic elimination of senselessly persecuting your people among them.
I also concern myself with ensuring minimal House interference in the Independent Worlds, a mission statement relevant to what I'd like to eventually discuss with all of you. It's been a difficult road of teaching the people I seek to represent what it means to see the bigger picture and to properly appreciate what's at stake. It's not inaccurate to say I essentially inherited a load of historical baggage, mostly the short sighted variety.
But I was successful enough in these endeavors, among others, that I had the full cooperation of my people in leading an intervention during the Coronado crisis. You're well aware of how the Traitor Republic behaved in trying to oust you from Coronado, so I'll spare you repetition. Putting it plainly we smuggled you an army's worth of weapons and killed a fair share of the enemy, and shared in your celebration when your adversaries gave up on their aggressive expansion in Coronado. It's just a shame we didn't finish the job of booting them off Pecos entirely.

Damien,
A hell of an introduction, but it makes a damn good first impression. We're always surprised when capitalists stand up for working people, but you've put more than just your money where your mouth is, so we'll be happy to return the favor. I'm Lex Setiawan, one of the foremen in the Kongsi Syndicate. That means I've been elected, just like you, to advocate on behalf of the people I work with to the rest of the Syndicate, and when needed, to folks outside of it.
The Syndicate itself is a relatively new group within the IMG. Over the past several years, we've been calling Dounby -- right up next to the Gallic border -- our home, but as of late we've found ourselves as far as the Omegas. We're anarchists, meaning we don't practice hierarchy, we share resources in common, and we hate the big states that keep folks like us enslaved through the shackles of the credit. I don't think any of our members participated in the events in Coronado, but some of our escort pilots fought at Åland or other places in and around Bretonia during the time of that great betrayal.
If I were to judge by the sound of things, you and yours had the same realization about Crayter that us and ours did back then. That's good. That inspires confidence in us. Enough confidence, at least, that we're keen to listen to whatever you're gonna say next. Let's hear it.

I'll get right to it then.
It's no mystery to anyone that Freeports have been an increasingly endangered species. That's a problem for people like you and us, all the more so considering Universal took this one in particular from you. We fought for 2, could only watch for Ames, so I'd like to change up the tempo for once and take ground back.
Universal deserves the axe for the strings they pulled to take Freeport 4 away from you. We're committed to not just see them get exactly what they deserve but also restoring the Guild's possession of the station. While this might seem ambitious, consider that Liberty's peacekeeping forces have several highly intensive commitments to tend to. Things vastly more important than picking up the slack for what mercs tend to earn their pay doing anyway.
Getting Freeport 4 back is quite tempting especially after losing the Hood so that axe would be more then welcome. Especially because it is Universal Shipping we haven't forgotten it's assistance to Bretonia during the whole Aland crisis. We haven't been able to stake our claim as it would bring the ire of Liberty making more problems then it we would want. But I guess that is where the Xeno Alliance can act. Now it is only a question of how do we make that axe fall on them?

Simple.
I'll give the order for Serpentis Wing to start enforcing "expropriations" on any ship affiliated with Universal or otherwise fulfilling some form of contract with them. This is a preliminary measure, one that puts the enemy on the back foot in the wake of constricted arteries of supplies and commerce but it serves a more important purpose than that. It allows us to measure the weight of their response and how deep their pockets are.
Once we have a clear picture for what exactly our opposition might be, we'll work from there. I won't be able to petition the LFR Assembly for reinforcements or serious resource allocation without the exacting and dull numbers. Just bombing these lackeys into submission and putting transports and their crews on ice is tempting, I'll admit. But I want the situation to be a forced withdrawal due to loss of profit rather than any overt action by the Guild.
That would make any intervention from Liberty against your return a net negative on the political stage. Not that they can afford this right now, split between an occupation and still recovering from the Vespucci campaign. Anything they send would be at the absolute expense of operations somewhere else, which works to our advantage regardless.
In short, consider this the opening phase for us to assess the situation properly.
As you know the Guild isn't able to openly help with the "expropriation" but if it is supplies or ship building materials feel free to ask we would hate not to contribute to Universals suffering.
