History
Falcon Enterprises is a company that first sprouted in 820 A.S by Jason Mustang & Co. in the Sigmas and Kusari with the help of Kishiro. Their business involved primarily cargo shipping to various parts of Sirius and armed escorting for convoys that had high value cargo. However, business was not flourishing as they were heavily contested by corporate giants and contracts from Kishiro alone were not enough to keep the company alive for long so they began exploring shady regions of space where the unwanted people resided.
The company spent some time fencing stolen or smuggled goods for petty criminals before larger groups such as the Blood Dragons required their services, boosting their prestige in the black market and opening many more paths for them and led them towards Liberty where another major organization known as the Hellfire Legion required them. Fencing goods in 2 Houses raked in profits to upgrade and maintain a fleet of larger vessels capable of hauling goods for other organizations, one of which was the Independent Miners Guild.
Falcon Enterprises working with criminals gave rise to rumors which arrived on official ears which in turn started causing troubles for them. Kishiro, their mentor, supported the company to the Kusari government and they dropped their claims but it created a rift between the two. The company decided to abolish its ties with Kishiro after an agreement between the two and left towards greener pastures.
Modern Status
Falcon Enterprises appeared after many years of dormancy in the Omicrons to continue their shipping business away from House laws and bureaucracy, believing this strategic move would allow them to settle down and become necessary for the factions housed in the Omicrons. The CEO, Jason Mustang, recruited smugglers and other people that were struggling for a living and absorbed them in the company, granting him seasoned, capable pilots and navigators. Diplomacy in the Omicrons is harsh as the two major factions, the Corsairs and the Outcasts are in a never-ending war and they are clashing for dominance and the Zoners have become less welcoming and tense towards strangers after the incident at Freeport 9. The Core on the other hand while indifferent at first, can become a major threat should their interests cross as they prefer to have the monopoly on valuable items and technologies.
Business started booming for them after announcing their presence in the Omicron Delta system and their capability to ship safely the valuable Iridium Ore to Zoner-owned processing facilities at first, gaining their trust after a while. Nomads were becoming more of a threat to them and a part of the profits they were making was used to introduce frigates into the fleet, those heavily armed and armored vessels allowed to fend off minor aggressiveness and reduce losses. Danger also lied within some Outcast casts who tried to forcefully achieve profits from these operations by committing piracy and damaging property, leading the company to achieve a more Corsair-affiliated approach to counter this problem.
