Hopefully this message gets to the right place, and not to whatever passes for political officer or censor that the government may be using now.
It seems most of our authorization certs for neural net communication are quite a bit out of date and have not been maintained since what I'm guessing is the monarchist coup and the Daumann pullout of Delta. No one will answer my calls, and I will not risk entering secure space with a demilitarized gunboat full of about five years worth of used up tubes of synthfood, waste jars, and communications equipment.

From what passive broadcasts I can pick up, it seems whatever semblance of Rheinland I signed up to serve is mostly dead - and what passes for entertainment channels are filled with a bit more autocratic monarchist propaganda than I'm comfortable with.

Given that I seem to be a bit out of a job at the moment with a lot of specialized communications equipment and what I'm hoping is some useful working knowledge on how to operate it - I don't suppose your organization would be looking to hire, would you?

Perhaps after I am situated, I can look to find out whether or not my family is even still alive. The Riemanns were never great at keeping quiet, and we were always a very opinionated bunch.

Unfortunately--And probably particularly in the case of a possibly-soon-to-be-ex-Buro-agent such as yourself--you'll have t'go through a vettin' process and answer a little questionaire, same as most everyone considerin' takin' part in, well...
