A warm greetings to you, esteemed friends in the Guild.
It's been some time since I've had the pleasure to personally reach out and touch base with you. I hope that the years have been kind. The Technocracy and The Guild have shared a long, positive relationship since the very conception of our society. The Directorate feels it's time we further expand upon that relationship.
In recent years, we've found ourselves in a struggle for maintaining sturdy supply lines. The Technocracy of Auxo has tasked me with seeking to establish formal trade relations, in the form of renewable import and export contracts for raw and refined mineral resources. Perhaps even more, should the Guild be interested in being paid for basic supplies. However, trade isn't the only benefit that may bolster our two groups.
There's many technological advances that the Technocracy has achieved, and can be pushed towards exploring. Our cybernetics and augment hardware has a variety of uses - including industrial safety applications - and is unmatched in its quality. In addition to a handsome and regular amount of credits, The Technocracy would be more than happy to provide access to tailor-made augments and cybernetics - ranging from full limb replacement to basic optical sensors that may be beneficial in surveying new sites for the Guild to set up operations.
As we expand our operations in the Omegas, we look to you and your years-long presence in the region and have asked ourselves: What can we offer? To that, we say mutual security. Joint patrols, protected mining expeditions and deep space convoy operations while under Technocrat protection. Beyond aiding the Guild in securing their various claims in the region, we'd be more than happy to solidify trade route security.
Furthermore, should our efforts in securing trade routes prove fruitful, we may look to facilitate communications with other local organizations in an effort to assist the Guild in building bridges and ties with neighbors in the region. It's my hope to establish solidarity and mutual interest in greater prosperity for The Omegas as a whole.
With that said, I eagerly await your response and leave the channel open to whatever counter-proposal you may have.
I am glad to see that the Technocracy of Auxo is reaching out to the Guild. Recently we haven't been formally in touch but we've noticed your ships have been giving our folks a hand, and that definitely hasn't gone unnoticed. It's good to see our friendship is still alive and kicking.
Regarding the matters of trade, import, export, and supply, the IMG's proficiency and reliability in these areas are well-regarded we typically operates on a cash basis. However, your offer of high-quality augmentations—distinct from the shoddy black market alternatives or those possibly compromised by spyware from the houses—makes this deal particularly enticing. Additionally, the prospect of mutual security is, without question, a smart move.
I'm curious about who else you plan to involve in this alliance, if I may refer to it as such. Given the unique position of the Guild—not being on the "hit list" of the houses like others might be—we have certain limitations on how we can contribute. However, this very status could prove advantageous to the alliance. In summary, we are interested in the offer presented and look forward to discussing further details.
With regards
Albert Schulze, Guildmaster

Leviathan,
Speaking, Lex Setiawan of the Kongsi Syndicate, on behalf of the Defense Union and the Logisticians' Union.
We've heard good things about you Technocrats from the rest of the Guild. Rezz even tells me she had a nice conversation with one of your own about music a few months back, for whatever that's worth. We've also heard some awful things about you from a few outsiders. Fortunately for you, the word of fellow Guilders goes far with us, while the words of outsiders carry little weight -- for they speak ill of us, too.
That said, we syndics believe as fact nothin' we don't see with our own eyes, regardless of however willing Schulze might be to call you friends. I'd assume you're more than just a representative, and that you're speakin' from a position of some authority... meaning you're able to give solid, definitive answers. On authority, let's discuss that a little bit.
The Kongsi is a syndicate comprised of multiple unions, and we're mighty skeptical of authority in general. We're anarchists, in a word. Rather than assuming authority, our foremen -- of which I presently am one -- are elected temporarily by reference to their expertise. As you might figure, this incites some reservations about those acting from positions of so-called "authority". Nevertheless, we're willin' to give you the benefit of the doubt for the time bein'. After all, the moniker of "Technocracy" implies that your "authorities" are also e-lected or otherwise see-lected on the basis of expertise. If true, that'd be a commonality between us.
So, with all of that having been established, we'd like to know what all y'all are about. And we'd like the straight dope, because if you mislead us, we'll surely find out eventually. In the course of their own fuckin' around, the Houses are startin' to find out that the anger of the workers is a ferocious force indeed. Here's hoping you're a mite wiser than they.
We've had the pleasure of speaking more directly in the recent weeks. I believe it goes without saying that the Technocracy values the need for discretion to maintain the Guild's reputation in areas less favorable to our people. This is not something I ever intend to compromise. The topic of augmentation raised a few additional ideas in the time I've had to mull over how best we can work together, and I came to an interesting conclusion: Joint development of industry-specific augments with Guild oversight, so you know exactly what your people will have access to, and can provide suggestions and input on the needs required per region. One of many opportunities that present themselves as we look to bolster our ties even further.
As for other groups in the region? Well, our mutual disdain for Bretonia had me consider roping the Republican Provisional Assembly into this whole endeavor. Their hold on Gold in the area is of keen interest to many parties, and makes for an excellent bargaining chip that I believe everyone involved could take advantage of if distributed accordingly. Naturally this would include some level of profit for those involved on the industry side of things. Exporting minerals to a distribution center where they can be stored and relocated depending on the needs of the involved parties. Granted, said shipments would be difficult to obtain with the recent blockade, but we have no qualms defending ourselves from The Armed Forces. They've attacked us before and lost.
Ultimately this arrangement would serve as a platform for our various parties to strengthen the Omegas region and create a stable area of economic trade, security, scientific discovery and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Lex Setiawan, it's a pleasure to speak with you at last.
I am pleased to see that the misguided opinions of outsiders has not tainted your outlook on the potential opportunity of cooperation. True, there are many foul rumors that have circulated about who and what we are, but we have always stood by the Guild - even when the former Guildmaster received false evidence of our involvement in one of the many sieges of Freeport 11, There are so many cases of these scenarios in which misinformation gets circulated and casts us into a bad light. So many, that were I to spend all my time waging a PR campaign against them, nothing would get done at all.
Your assessment is correct: Our leadership is based on experience, election and discussion. The Keeper or Keepers of past typically sit as guides, offering experience to all and decisions when none can be decided as a collective. The Venators independently manage their divisions and their ranks, bringing the concerns, needs and desires of those they represent to the Inner Phalanx for discussion. We often open the floor to the various division personnel to get a broader opinion on matters that affect our people as a whole. Our roots stem from across Sirius - disillusioned people who saw the folly in The Core's goals, or the lies in Liberty's words while they served faithfully in its Navy. Many such examples from all walks of life that rose up and cast aside the shackles that bound them to ideals which limited their potential and freedom. We aren't out to dominate, conquer or even spread our ideas to others. Rather we forge our own path, hoping others may someday choose to follow in our wake and seek the same answers we do. Answers for questions which are as various as the roots of our society.
We believe above all else that knowledge and technology is the path for our future, and that life - all walks of it, all kinds of it, are worth preserving. Though Sirius is a harsh place, and we are not blind to the realities that we stare down on a day to day basis. We fight The Core's expansionism and profit-seeking growth. We fight The Order's dogmatic fall into fascism as they continue to let humanity down in ways that surprise me, over ten years into our feud. We stand against The Outcasts and their spread of poison, and The Corsairs desire to dominate. We don't believe in exerting control onto others. We believe everybody has the right to self-determination, and that with like-minded groups who find themselves pitted against the cruelty of our Sector, that we can build a lasting impact and improve that reality for those who think it really can get better than this.
With the above, and what I mentioned to the Guildmaster, I hope we can move forward and look to a bright future together.
