Hi there, it's Rivers.
You know, the lost musician?
Thought you might want to know that I did manage to meet with Chloe, no problem. If you care. I don't know.
Look, this might sound stupid, but I am truly grateful you didn't blast me back there. I didn't miss the other Xenos calling you 'Commander', so I suppose it was your authority that saved my life. Getting directions to Texas was just a nice bonus.
A harsh first welcome to the LFR but you stumbled by at a bad time. Does this mean you're staying in-house for a while? I would have assumed that you were already back in Bretonia by now, considering the kind of heat a stolen ship can attract. Must be really important business if you're risking arrest to meet with criminals and stick around.

Oh, hey!
I'm actually on my way back right now. Just didn't feel right to leave without saying something, you know?
I was really out of my depth there. Stolen ship and only a vague idea of where to go because corpos don't include jump holes in their nav data. But Chloe mentioned she can sort both of these issues out, so, who knows? I might be back under less dubious circumstances. Might even play a gig.
The important bit is that the people I work for are going to get their data, so that means my job is done, in part because of you. And they're not friends of Liberty or anything, so don't worry about sensitive LFR matters getting compromised. Actually, if you want, I won't mention you at all.
I'm mostly curious what sort of people hire poor musicians to engage in something resembling espionage. Assuming you actually are a musician, Fontana has a few spots open for entertainers or bands. I'll mark you down as the latter if you can be bothered. I'm sure it would help morale.
Just for amusement, who are your employers friends of if not a Great House?

Very desperate people with ties to the Bretonian underworld, clearly.
I see how it is, Commander. Now I have to come over to play on Fontana one day. Alright, then. It'll be a solo act though, 'cause my old band has scattered to the four solar winds a while back, before I joined up with my crew.
Speaking of which, there's not a whole lot of people they can count among friends right now. Chloe is a friend. I guess the IMG fits the bill. Maybe the Zoners, but it depends on the individual Zoner. Red Hessians used to be a big one, but they've been awful quiet lately. But yeah, no great Houses on that list. Awful shame, that.
I would consider that a good thing. Especially if we're going by that manifesto I wrote all those years ago. Clearly not a big fan myself but I doubt that's a surprise depending on how clued in you are on Liberty's own underworld. Still, the info is appreciated.

Commander.
Seems I'm in between jobs at the moment, so I'm thinking of going on a little tour. I'll stop by at Fontana, if your offer's still good. Shouldn't be in such disarray this time now that I have a better idea of what's going on.
Hoping to have a fun time. Maybe you can read me that manifesto of yours.
Read you my manifesto though? Seems awfully dull, I'd prefer just watching you perform with the others. Definitely more interesting than politics. If you truly want to read my criticism of the current Interhouse political system feel free to consider it homework.

I was kidding about that last part. Mostly. Maybe I'm a little nervous about being stuck on a station full of angry Xenos if the show ends up being a disaster. Never know with a new audience. And you do make a good narrator.
