It's gonna be important if I've got to navigate the sprawling metropolis of Manhattan mostly on foot. Hello. Good day, ma'am.

I've just retrieved your package from your point of interest in the apartment on Peace Street and I'm on my way back to my ship. Your nav data sent me to... Block 2 in Gramercy, Quadrant 9 on Manhattan... gosh, this place is huge AND confusing. Good thing I always love a good crowd. Let me tell you - people with agoraphobia can't possibly last very long in a sprawling metropolis like this one.

Um, moving on - The retrieval went off without a hitch, um, mostly. Let me briefly break it down for you.

I arrived on Manhattan at... around 08:50 SMT. Not exactly on the dot - you know, docking procedures, sky traffic lanes and whatnot. Ten minutes early to have a minute to drink something warm at a Sunbucks before getting to work. The distance I had to cover was... well, I certainly had to put my legs to use, along with the help of other means of transportation. I left my ship at Laurelton's Kanezaka Systems docking station. Don't even get me started on their fees. Now, if you're familiar with Manhattan you may be wondering - "Mr. Kristoff. I thought my apartment was in in Gramercy. Did you seriously cover the entire distance from Laurelton to Gramercy?"

Weeeell... yes... yes, I did... I am just a Denver bumpkin, and Manhattan is... well, it's certainly not my home turf, and it's a little confusing by comparison...

But hear me out: I deliberately parked my ship in the docking station at Laurelton for a reason - they are a subsidiary of Kishiro, and their employees and escort fighter pilots usually have a huge, dirt cheap discount. With a little bit of spoofing, I was able to trick the systems into thinking I was an escort of the Yoyogi Maru parked somewhere in the station. The LPI usually doesn't mess with other patron corporations.

With this little hiccup out of the way, all that was left was reaching your apartment situated one entire Quadrant away from. For scale, I think a city Quadrant is about... fourty-five kilometers or so... and yeah, I booked an hovercab as quickly as I could. All went well, save for the exorbitant fee they made me pay for a single trip from one quadrant to the next. Once my automated cab dropped me off in another totally unfamiliar corner of Manhattan... I had to do some searching. Some serious searching, because... you know, most cities in Manhattan are not on a single plane - there's plenty of them stacked on top of each other. Sometimes streets overlap each other. Sometimes the nav totally bugs out and brings you in the opposite direction. There are... apparently two Peace Streets in the same quadrant, which only made things far more complicated.

I ventured onwards to the first one closer to me. It is located two layers under the surface level, and the house itself was stashed somewhere in a huge column apartment building that spans for the entire height of the layer. We're talking like - thirty stories or so. Entering the lobby did not require me to flash an identification code of any kind - red flag. As I ventured up the staircase, I couldn't help but notice the state of disrepair and mold and humidity seeping in from some cracks in the white walls - another red flag, considering that an apartment building in these conditions has no room for a talented modelist with tons of printing equipment such as you. And by the time I reached Apartment 355... well. I checked the door, and there was no slot for a keycard anywhere at all.

So I went to the other one, situated somewhere near the surface. The streets were narrow, and they were full of all kinds of people going up and down the escalators. The whole place was just a huge maze, basically. No wonder why everyone uses hovercars in Manhattan. Uh, anyways... I made my way there at last. Surface level apartment block, very fancy stuff. I used my (your) keycard chain code at the entrance and before entering 335. The wall panel light turned green, and I tried to look for something that matched the general description of your package. You made my job very easy by simply leaving it on your desk.

Anyways, here I am. I'm just loitering for my hovercab to come pick me up. I'll come by later this evening to deliver the parcel back to you. I also just noticed that this recording went on for WAAAAY too long! It didn't occur to me that I should have just glossed over the details instead of explaining everything in full detail like that.
