I realise the diverse list of recipients and even the origin is particularly colourful, but I chalk this up to us having the luxury of living in interesting times.
Recent events in Ontario has seen the arrival of the LSF to do Liberty's bidding. And with the ongoing occupation of Erie, the landscape of resistance has been diversified. I've called this summit primarily because everyone invited has similar interests, or at the very least a singular interest that can be counted as common.
If there is any hope of liberating Erie or rebuking incursions into Ontario, then the only way to viably pursue these outcomes will be through joint action on both fronts. We need to turn the tables on our would be oppressors that seek to divide and conquer us.
To that end, the summit will be held on Fontana Freeport on the 7th of this month through to the 9th. Security and accommodations are guaranteed, you are permitted to each send one delegate. Since many of the recipients to this invitation play host to various groups within their wider organisations, each of those constituent groups may send a delegate.
I expect some of you will have questions or certain reservations that need addressing. To accommodate this, the line is open.
The Order will send a delegate to the summit, though I must confess I doubt we're in a position to provide direct assistance against Liberty, perhaps there are other ways we can provide aid, especially given recent developments. The delegate will have full juristiction to speak on our behalf.
The comm feed would open with a heavy dose of static, the signal strength appeared scattered, and took awhile to clear up as sounds and an image arrived to replace it. Whatever image would form was harshly ripped by a blinding red light that appeared to be a scattered projection from a singular point.
"While I understand the need to keep this summit as simple as possible with such a.. unique collection of bodies. I'm sure you understand the fractionalized nature of my people, my own pack is not immune to that disjointed functionality. As such, I am requesting that another delegate be allowed to the summit so that he and his warship crew have firsthand understanding of the situation, and the decisions made at the summit."
A brief, pointed pause.
"I will attend regardless, yet the point of this summit is first and foremost cooperation, putting me in the position to offer second hand testimony and promises akin to the politicians that put Liberty's forces in our way to begin with will serve to undermine the cooperation of your would be allies in a nightmarish scenario."
Quite an interesting message you have written down. The LSF has always been an interesting adversary to us and myself personally. I'll try to come up with some "aid" we can provide in this case but don't expect many hackers to be fond of my ideas. Fixer Goldfinger of the inner circle and myself will attend your meeting, regardless of any decision I will be there myself.
While the developments in Ontario are of considerable concern to us, I am uncertain what you expect the Order to contribute regarding the issue of Planet Erie and Pennsylvania. Never the less, our liaison, Senator, will attend this summit.
No real preference for snacks, the station has two restaurants that cater to events like this, among other things. Feel free to bring anything you feel like sharing with your peers though. And yes, you can stream the event with your friends. Just don't disrupt the proceedings too much.
Mister Drake.
It's been a long time since I've seen you. I'll be looking forward to having you attend this summit, perhaps you'll be able to appreciate the conquest you missed out on back when the station was still called Hesperia.
Hawkins.
I never expected Section 8 to weigh in on those particular issues, but concerns over Ontario inevitably spill over into other political pursuits one way or another. I simply felt you were a necessary party.
To be honest, I have no idea what this is about. Liberty overstepping its boundaries is no news.
We're all overwhelmed and overtasked around here. Battleship Alma, Liberty's disgraced battleship, casts its shadow above us every single day. Talk about a sore sight. We can't divert elements to your position, even if we wanted.
Let's keep it simple, commander: We'll try to inflict as much damage as possible - you fight your front, we fight ours. Gun them down in Ontario and you'll help us. We gun them down in Pennsylvania and we'll be helping you. I guess this is the point.
The point behind why I invited you wasn't to ask for you to send forces to Ontario. I'm aware of how bad the current situation is for the resistance. But what we can't afford to not do is coordinate. Sending a delegate would help ensure we're on the same page.
