Good day,
Today, our supply vessel Schweitzer picked up a rescue pod containing one of your pilots, Amy Fisher. According to the pod log, she had been adrift for five hours prior to her rescue. Despite the challenging circumstances, she managed to treat some of her minor injuries quite skillfully before losing consciousness. Her resilience and quick thinking undoubtedly contributed to her survival.
Upon her arrival our medical team conducted a thorough examination. They discovered that she was suffering from spinal cord compression, a serious condition that necessitated immediate surgery. Our skilled surgeons performed the operation successfully, and she is now in our protected recovery room. We have provided her with the best possible care and will continue to do so as she recovers. Amy will need to stay with us for at least four days during which our doctors will closely monitor her progress and provide any additional treatment she may require.
Once she has recovered sufficiently to be safely transported, please inform us if you wish to transfer her to your own medical facilities so we can coordinate the necessary arrangements. Our medical team is fully prepared to assist with the transfer process to ensure that she continues to receive the care she needs. It is important to note that her recovery may take some time, and physical therapy will be crucial to her rehabilitation. We will provide her with all the support and resources she needs to regain her strength and mobility.
Given the severity of her condition, her road to recovery is likely to be a lengthy one. The support and presence of family and friends can play a significant role in her healing process. When she regains consciousness, having familiar faces around her could greatly uplift her spirits and provide emotional comfort. We encourage you to arrange for loved ones to visit her, as their presence can be invaluable during this critical period.
Rest assured, she will receive the highest standard of care during her stay with us, just as we provide for all those we rescue. Our medical team is dedicated to ensuring her well-being and will do everything in their power to facilitate her recovery. We understand how distressing this situation must be for you and her loved ones, and we are committed to keeping you informed of her progress every step of the way.
If you have any further questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to support you and Amy through this challenging time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Kind regards,
