Springfield Station:
Brief Introduction:
Springfield Station was constructed in 834 A.S as a joint-venture between the Forty-sixth Fleet and civilian contractors from Juneau Shipyard.
Located at the entrance of Zone-21 and 14.5 km away from the Fleet's Headquarters, Norfolk Shipyard; and closely guarded by the Overlord-class, Missouri. Springfield has been enveloped in to Naval Central Command (NAVCENTCOM) and primary serves as an auxiliary storage facility for the Liberty Navy.
The installation is primarily maintained by the Merchant Marine, Heavy Transport Division. However, there is scope in the Naval budget for fiscal year 834 A.S, for this to be put to tender for Liberty Corporations. Providing requirements can be met, there are future plans to construct a ship-building extension, but this has yet to be determined.
