Type: Systems Bug: Chesapeake Research Facility is an onion of errors.
Reproduction Steps:
Go to Chesapeake Research Facility in Alaska and notice that the "station" is actually the small drydock attached to the larger model, and this small part is where you actually dock at.
Dock on the base and see that you've actually docked on Chesapeake Drydock.
Look at the station inforcard and see that it seems to think you're actually on Chesapeake Shipyard.
Summary:
Prior to 5.0's rework of Alaska, the "Chesapeake Complex" was located in Virginia and was two small stations joined together to form one larger one, similar to how the current model for Chesapeake is set up. Judging from the evidence, one of two things (possibly three) happened here. Either Chesapeake was meant to remain two stations, and this was miscommunicated at some point during the Alaska changes, and it wasn't properly implemented and ended up as one station, or alternatively Chesapeake was meant to turn into a single station, and the base entries were mixed up at some level which resulted in the confused Solar/Internal/Infocard naming. It's also possible that the 5.0 team was rushed and didn't want to update the infocard for the Research Facility, since it would need to be rewritten after being moved from Virginia, so it was removed as an option.
With that in mind, there are two ways to fix Chesapeake and bring it into a coherent state. One, is to reintroduce the two selectable/dockable stations and have Chesapeake Research Facility be the larger part of the station that is based on the West Point-model, with the Chesapeake Shipyard being the smaller section that has the LSF Cruiser Prototype in it. This could even be left as one dockable station, with the Shipyard simply becoming a selectable solar with an infocard on it that explains its purpose. The second option is to have it remain as a single larger station, retaining the name Chesapeake Research Facility, and having the dockable portion of the station be moved to the larger West Point-model station area, with an updated internal base to reflect that.
Either option will at a minimum require a new infocard for Chesapeake Research Facility, as the current one for the Shipyard is woefully inadequate to explain the existence of the station as a whole, regardless of how the issues with it are resolved.
