☆ Subject: Purchase of a L-584-B "Oasis"-class Passenger Liner
Greetings to the Deep Space Engineering ,
I am Minerva Lundmark, and I would like to purchase an Oasis Passenger Liner. However, before making the purchase, I would like to know if it is possible to modify it to serve as a mobile museum or, more specifically, an exhibition for my current collection of scale model ships, which will expand in the future. Additionally, the ship will need the number of crew quarters downsized to make room for a robot maintenance bay, which I plan to use for the custodians of my collection.
I apologize for the time it took to get back to ya on this, but I think I'm gonna have some good news for you. We have recently finished the construction of two separate modular dry-docks which may fit your needs. I gotta warn ya though, we're already fillin' up with shipbuildin' requests, so you will need to act fast if you wanna keep your spot in line. But as long as you're still interested in this request, I'm sure we can work somethin' out.
I currently see two main options for you: acquire the vessel elsewhere and moor it at our dry-docks, or have it be built custom-made. As you might imagine, the first option will be cheaper, but also more limited in terms of what we can modify about the vessel, and slower. We are able to manufacture state-of-the-art Interior and Avionics (aka the power distribution) suites, but the rest of the components will need to remain in place. However, if you would like to pay a premium for a custom design, we will source all the necessary components, and build the vessel in-house, with the assistance of Baltimore.
While I'd love to make the shareholders happy on this one, I think you should go with the external build option. Based on your description, the Interior suite modifications are the bulk of your request, so there's no sense in spendin' money on the rest of the custom build. Therefore, I'd recommend you reach out to the folks at various passenger companies (OS&C in particular), and see if they have any liners that they're willin' to sell. I strongly recommend a relatively young but used vessel as opposed to a new construction, which will be rife with safety-related delays. But if no one's currently sellin', you can put in a standard order at Baltimore, and they'll get it done within the month.
However, the final answer here lies with you, so if you prefer that we build the vessel, I will do my best to give you a fair quote. Once you acquire the vessel, we will make mooring arrangements on Susquehanna Station over in Cortez. At this time, you will be able to enjoy the full amenities of Curacao as we work on re-designing the interior of your ship.
Based on rough estimates, I would say that the cost of the Interior redesign will fall at around 2.5 million credits. If you elect to go with a fully custom construction, I can see the total reach over 10 times this number. However, much will depend on forge availability at Baltimore, and the market on the remaining components at the time.
Please get back to me on this node as soon as you've made your decision.

Greetings you mister Logan Davis,
Having read what you said I would agree that it would be in my interest to purchase a used Oasis that would be modified. I will be reaching out to you as soon as I manage to acquire said ship thank you for responding to my request.

Greetings you mister Logan Davis,
Unfortunately Orbital spa and cruse is not responding to my message so I acquired a relatively new model from a family member. The ship in question named RV-Veneziano was used as a research. It is en route to the specified station in Cortez.
