Albert McKenzie, Starfliers To: Emily Furukawa, Ionic Incorporated Subject: Beacon Certification
Hello, Emily.
While we work on your team's educational material with the scanner, a thought occurred to me. Another part that your teams can work with is getting their hands on our Slipspace Beacons. These were purchased from a third party years ago, however they still bear prints and serials that can be traced back to Kishiro.
I am wondering if your teams would like to inspect our Beacons and give them a valid certification from Kishiro. This is to ensure that we are operating with official Kishiro branded hardware and that your teams get further experience of how we use our ships.

Mr McKenzie,
Hello, I'm Yasu Ike. I work in Quality Assurance at Ionic Incorporated, Ms Furukawa has forwarded your message to our department.
We will be happy to examine your devices. I am curious about the "third party" you acquired them from, though with that phrasing, I am assuming you don't intend to clarify further? It is helpful for us to keep an eye on the developments of hyperspace technology abroad. To our knowledge, no such devices have been constructed which make no use of proprietary Kishiro technology at all, but other parties are starting to replace our components bit by bit, and we expect they will eventually make do entirely without them. That is a development we must be prepared for.
At any rate, we can conduct such an examination most easily at the Labs, however, we can also send a team with equipment to a location of your choice, if necessary.
On the matter of the Jintsuriki advancement project, I am told to forward to you to expect new developments soon.
Albert McKenzie, Starfliers To: Emily Furukawa, Ionic Incorporated Subject: Nebula Technologies
Hello, Emily.
I did not mean to be secretive about our purchases. The third party is a former marketplace that was located within the Cambridge System a few years ago. Nebula Technologies. They had manufacturing services for various devices. Never had the opportunity to inspect these myself, though I suspect that they held Kishiro blueprints and components for the same Slipspace Matrixes we purchased from them.
These same Matrixes are what we need inspected and verified to be genuine Kishiro branded hardware. Please let us know when our ships can be inspected at Shinagawa Station.
