-- KANAGAWA SHIPPING PLATFORM --
Kanagawa Shipping Platform is the newest venture of Gateway Shipping. Operated by the subsidiary company Caledonia Distributions Ltd, the platform prepares commodities from Kusari and the Taus for export to Rheinland, the Sigmas, and the Omicrons, while importing goods from the same regions for distribution within the Kusari market.
Opened to the public on March 7th, 835 AS, Kanagawa's interior features are still under construction. All engineering work on the platform is conducted by ALG, and a small contingent of ALG employees is permanently stationed on the base. The installation features an artisanal hydroponics garden designed and operated by displaced farmers from Nabegataki, a small village on Planet Kyushu which was hit particularly hard by the recent monsoons.
The interior of the station is constructed and decorated in a tasteful Anglo-Japanese style, paying homage to both Caledonia's Bretonian origins as well as Kanagawa's location within Kusari. There are several dozen affordably-priced rooms available for visitors on a short- or long-term basis, and a small gym available.
All pilots in good standing with Gateway are welcome to dock or moor, and are encouraged to enjoy the amenities. Kanagawa Shipping Platform strives to be a welcoming environment for all, and to facilitate not only economic but also cultural exchanges. For business inquiries, including renting rooms or establishing supply contracts, contact Elize Terblanche of Caledonia Distributions Ltd via neural-net.
To all visitors and prospective business partners, we have big plans for our little installation here, and we're excited to share them with you as soon as we can. Be sure to watch this space, and drop by at our convenient location just outside of Planet Honshu at any time!
