A major feature, would be accessible for level 45+ Players, a group would be necessary or else you would definitely have no chance to perform it, the idea at all is simple.
You perform a mission for a certain faction against the other which would be: A: Destroying a fleet of a certain faction. (Fighters, Gunboats, Cruisers, Battleship)
Example: Liberty Navy orders you to destroy several ships from the Liberty Rogues. (You + Group x 5 fighters, 2 Gunboats, 1 Cruiser)
B: Protecting a temporary mission installation against a massive attack.
Example: Bretonian Armed Forces orders you to Proceed to a mission waypoint and protect an installation like those that appear in a mission to destroy them, in this mission, there would be several bombers/gunboats heading to the installation.
Completing those jobs would earn -a lot- of money, because they would be extremely difficult to complete. (Though it would take some time to code.)
The first one is easily possible, although I'm not sure if it is possible to differentiate from Group missions and Solo missions. People might end up taking them solo by accident.
Second idea would probably require some more work. In general, I like these ideas but... are they really necessary? The whole point of Roleplay is player-player interactions, which doesn't only include roleplaying with your allies but also roleplaying with your enemies. We don't really need PvE aspects in a Roleplaying game.
That's why I said it would take a lot of coding.
And I'm Only suggesting the group thing, because the person would be most probably obliterated doing it alone.
If theres defensive mission - I had one just today.
Rostock station (bhg one in omega 15) gave me a mission that said Destroy All ships. Guess where the mission waypoint was? Right outside. So I undock to have corsairs swarming all around me.
No but money creating faction RP encouraging missions are needed so that people can actually focus on their faction RP rather than wandering around madly, trading with uber boring RP (if you don't want it, the RP contribution of your char declines rather dramaticly).
But instead of making the missions pay more, this kinda group interraction missions would help a lot. If it is possible from a technical perspective, it surely adds a RP value within the playing group's dialogue tree.

Indeed. As for the money, not too high, though it would be very, very difficult to complete it.
The NPCs generate lots of lovely lag.
The missions overal discourage player interaction on a larger scale (Groups aren't meeting each other, instead sticking to themselves)
Would simply encourage people to do the more 'oorp' idea of mission groups. People going off together just to do missions.
If the server can hold 200 people, and every 5 people are spawning 5 NPCs. That's a hell of a load on the server. Really, big big load.
