Right, just had an idea. (Jup, for real) I assume some people here know about Jammi's Discovery writers chat. Its real cool for getting critiscism and overall ideas before posting your stories ect. So I thought, why not set one up for graphical artists too? I know people like me could sure use one.
Post here if you're interested, or wether itt'l just be a waste of bandwith.
An interesting idea. I'm a mediocre artist and I think that I could really improve from something like that. Don't know how much feedback I could give for the most part, but we have some real pros around here it seems. Perhaps if they get involved with this...
Most of those pros are slaghators (copyright, Gurjiv). Slaghator = lazy. But all in all it is a nice idea, i would like to learn more about making cool stuff.
correction. Slagathor. Copyrights go to Scrubs, in particular, Bob Kelso, the genius who spoke said word to an unsuspecting, innocent intern one fine afternoon at Sacred Heart.
personally, i dont see a reason for having a skype chat for it, since most of the time everyone gets criticism about graphics work in this subforum rather fast. stories require people to have time, and reason to read stories written by us, while pictures require a glance to tell whats right and wrong about the picture, thus stories rarely get criticism because of that.
mike, you just wanna be another skype chat host dont you:P
Although one can get feedback on work done within this forum, half the time I honestly don't feel like making a new post just for that. I've still got quite a lot to learn in terms of graphical design, so I do think that such a chat would be beneficial if, for example, I need feedback during the creation of a design. So, yeah. I'm all for this one.
