This sounds like a client problem, probably game file corruption.
A potential quick fix is to hit restore backups in FLMM, re-dowload the mod and re-install it into FLMM then reactivate it.
If this doesnt work then un-install and re-install FL (be sure to save your account(s)) and reactivate the mod. This will most likely fix the problem. If it doesnt post here again and we'll see if we can figure out something else.

Just a quick note, Freelancer accounts are stored in your computers' registry, uninstalling Freelancer will not risk losing your accounts.
