[font=Lucida Console]The ship, a heavily modified Argus Battlecruiser, was drifting through space in an unknown system, visibly an immense distance from all the traffic and prying eyes, it's bulk moving through the void.
[color=#000099]"Commander, there's a scrambled transmission in contact with our long range communications array" - Said the young and eager communications officer aboard the Hermes.
An old man in a starched Colonial uniform stood up, and said:"Oh, I know what this is about. Insert this datapad into the computer and record the whole transmission on it. Don't try to find out what it says." , handing him a secure encrypted access datapad.
The officer nervously did it all, and then handed it to him. "Sir."
"I'm going to my quarters. I want no interruptions." - he said, retreating to his quarters aboard the gargantuan ship. He sat in his room, and opened a safe from one of the floor panels and took out a small electronic key, after which he inserted the key into the datapad and hooked it up to the computer.
The text read:
"This is Field Agent Repenter, reporting in.
I have successfully infiltrated my assigned position in Crisis Area A and have secured an espionage asset, who is as of now on our payroll.
Results are already coming in soon. Images of the defense zone have been taken."
On the datapad four other files were located, containing the following detailed imagery:
Agent Patriot signing in. Verification code Demetrius-965-273.
Reporting on my progress in Leeds.
I was assigned to find information and obtain photographic imagery of the LD-14 Mining facility and its defenses, also Planet Leeds.
I managed to obtain an asset, a Freelance trader by name of Eric_Woods. I used 4,000,000 credits persuading him to work for me and do what he was asked with very few questions. I have uploaded my ships communication logs, as well as the intel gathered by the source.
So i Settled down for a wait. Engines powered down anchored to a small asteroid in the field surrounding LD-14.
Here is the Imaging on LD-14, Not a hugely heavily defended facility. Obviously alot of BAF patrol out there though and there is also the Battleship york just down a few trade lane rings ready to answer any call.
And here is the imaging on Planet Leeds. A wide killing area just infront of the docking rings and the Battleship Derby sits in a commanding position on the edge of the killing area. This area i believe would be easy to be ambushed, there are many lanes leading into this area that fleets could hide down just waiting for an enemy fleet to get bogged down.
Due to the inreased concentration of Bretonian Battleships in Leeds i had one of my sources in the BAF Shipyards find the statistics on one. I believe they are all similar and only the Weapons would change.
Turret mounts : 14
Armour : 800000
Cargo Space : 1600
Maximum Shield battery and Nanobot Storage capacity : 1600 of each
Powerplant Output capacity : 7000000
Maximum impulse speed, no thrusters : 90m/s
Extra equipment is only a countermeasure.
I am planning to try and aquire another "asset", perhaps one with close links to the military. I will use this person to gather more precise information about the defenses at LD-14 and more information about Planet Leeds itself. Hopefully one way or another we can find out exactly what guns are mounted on the Battleship York at LD-14 and also what Guns are on the facility itself. If we can aquire blueprints it would greatly increase the chance of success for any attack or sabotage planned for the facility.
I will report in either when i have the information or before i execute my backup plan.
I got in touch with my asset once again. Here are the logs and intel gathered.
Here is the Intel gathered on LD-14, it clearly shows mounting points for weapons and where each is. I would advise sending to the military chiefs so they can work out weak spots or plan missile strikes.
Here is a list of Battleship Yorks weapons. A large mix of Turrets, Solaris to engage fighters and Razors/Pulse cannons for hostile capital class ships or very stupid fighters. I would advise avoiding this at all costs.
I will be looking at approach routes some time in the future.
As ordered i have aquired an alias. Created a believable background story and have succesfully got in with the outcasts. My biggest problem currently is avoiding Cardimine poisoning. I am using the meds provided and i just pray they work.
I have been asking around about the so called "rebels" and most people are saying the same things. That the Rebels are a small group of at most 4. They attack cardimine shipments and try to spread dissent and propaganda about the dons.
Uploading logs.
I don't believe this is anything more than what it seems, a few mislead druggies pushing for power. However i will keep investigating and will keep you up to date with my findings.
You will have to forgive the delay of this report. An interesting week in alpha, what with Outcast Rebels and the heightened security around Malta, but I am sure you have heard all about it.
Well on to my report, as I have already stated the heightened security around Malta is interfering with my passage through Alpha, and my ability to gain the information of the exact armaments of these ships, but given time you will have them.
I have arranged thought a contact on Malta, for access to the armory on Valetta Shipyard which will give me more information on the weapon specs you need.
As you can see from the pictures attached, the number of Battleship has increased with no less than two patrolling at any time, as well as three or more gunboats in support, also attached.
As soon as I have accessed the computers on Valetta I will forward the specs of there armaments
As a side note this rebel, Jakka, has the Don on the defense. It may be potent to have one of you agents contact him, although his follows are small in numbers they may prove useful in you effort against the Dons. As always yours until your coffers dry up.
[font=Gothic]Good work there, Mr. *****. You are a good asset to the agency.
Your payment has been forwarded, expect the rest when you deliver the rest of the information.

[font=palatino linotype]Greetings Agents.
I send this report from the Dundee system where i am midway through an assignment. I do not have long to send this information as i have Counter Intelligence hot on my tail.
I Have been pondering the issue of how the Bretonians are able to move in Tau 31 and around behind enemy lines seemingly at will seeing as the Northern Quadrant of Leeds is Kusari controlled. The answer to the question has made itself apparent to me. I have discovered the "Dundee" system. This lies approximately inbetween Leeds and Tau-31 however the Entrances are in 31, Edinborough and Newcastle. I have yet to discover the locations of the Jump holes in Edinborough and Newcastle as i could not risk going through.
However i have recorded the position of the Jump hole within the Tau 31 system. I shall upload Nav map Images now.
[font=palatino linotype]I proceeded to explore the Dundee system. It is much prettier than Leeds at least.
[font=palatino linotype]The first discovery was the Battleship Stirling. A heavily Fortified Battleship a few Clicks from the 31 Jump-hole, sitting in orbit of a small moon. I drifted with only life support till i was close enough to get visuals before moving on.
[font=palatino linotype]Next i discovered a small Polie Outpost, Took some preliminary scans of this and intend to return to gather some data on base defense and such like. The main purpose of this base seems to be to guard the Jump hole to Edinborough which is in close proximity.
[font=palatino linotype]Finally there appears to be a Molly Base in the system, this base is in the asteroid field and appears to be guarding a jump hole to Newcastle. I do not know if the Bretonnians are aware of this or not but it should be kept in mind. It seems more of a small outpost than a serious defensive base. Also with this i will return and try and gather some more information.

Greetings. I have performed the first stage of my Tau-23 task and obtained valuable information on BMM activity in the system, their base in particular, while using my cover identity as a Freelancer.
Images follow:
As you can see, I mapped out the system, and noted key defenses and strategy points, as well as my personal recommendations as to how a hypothetical assault on the BMM forces in the system would play out.
I am confident that this is the base of a fool proof plan to push the BMM out of Tau 23 once and for all.
