I've been thinking about these a bit. Sometimes I feel like my RP has stagnated or gotten worse, but now and again I find an inspiration in the middle of the gaming session and I produce brilliant RP.

My fighting skills have definitely gotten rusty. I lack the time to seek out the fights and train myself properly. Sigh.

Reasons are the same as ever why I chose the answers I chose. Lack of time. I don't want to things in bits and pieces.

So, do some soul searching and post away people. :nyam:

Flying under radar.

Same boat as you. I am good for long-winded inspirational speeches and not much else nowadays.

It's mostly because I'm getting older, and life away from gaming and the PC in general is taking priority.

Picking up new RP skills even after the long term I have had of RPing. As for combat well..Bit new to freelancer combat but still I'm holding out the best I can at the moment, not learning anything new. Maybe I need to take an EVE kinda look onto my ship and figure out a good setup.

My RP is progressively improving, and my combat is as good as it will get, for now anyway.

Of course, both could be degrading, as I rarely play as much as I did.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

As for my RP, I'm always doing something new, working on something, improving something old, so I can safely say I'm developing it constantly.

As for combat skills, I kinda peaked at them, and am slowly losing my edge.
I remember one time, when I singlehandedly defeated 6 Outcasts Sabres and one Scimitar, all in my trusty old Viper Mark II.
I don't know if I got worse, if it's cause of the mod changes, or both, but I don't have the old edge any more.
But still go without dying, like, ever. So I'm good on survivability.:P

I like to think my RP is the best it can get, but "roleplay" is a tricky thing to measure..."how good are you at being someone else?"...yeah...probably improving the more I read/talk to people/practice it.

As for PvP, I have resigned myself to the fact that I'm not gonna beat anyone with the vaguest knowledge of where "forward" is on a ship...I always get this issue with games...no matter how much I practice, I never seem to improve...

I always work on my RP, though I feel like it stagnates sometimes when I don't find anyone else who likes to RP. I'm a stickler for complete RP, but it's hard to keep practiced with it when there aren't too many others with RP on my level.

My fighter combat skills can't improve or degrade, as I don't have them.
Capital ship combat skills? Getting a little better.

My RP is improving, mainly because I havent done terribly much and I pick up new things from reading some of the good RP around here.

Same with the PvP really. Pick up new things when I train, most serious PvPer's fight much more than I so pass on good strategies. I'll prolly always be learning here, because PvP is not my primary activity here, or anywhere near it really, though I do enjoy a good scuffle every now and then.

I wish I could contribute something helpful... But frankly I'm in the same boat. To be fair it's only associating with 2-3 people that I enjoy having a natter with now and again that's keeping me around here at the moment.

Just can't seem to find the go juice to give it a try.

I know there's a multitude of people here older than me, but I look at myself in the mirror now that I'm officially in my late 20's, and I've been doing roughly the same thing for the past ten years. My life situation needs improving, to say the very least.

Half the time I look at the icon on the desktop and I think "I don't have time for this"
