I just wanted to drop a big thank you to the typical Disco player on behalf of 2 of my friends who have just started playing online, but arent part of the forums. They are really enjoying role-playing with the server players & discovering Sirius in a way that many veteran players can no longer appreciate. Really positive feedback off them both.
The principle point I wanted to make was that both of my friends had unwittingly broken Server Rules (in innocent minor ways) and they were thankfully made aware of these errors in a friendly manner by fellow gamers. They are heeding this advice (that was expressed in role play terms) and really appreciated the interaction. Its very pleasing to see our more established pilots treating new players with respect rather than resorting to sanction spam.
I only know that The Hessians & Hackers were mentioned in particular so whoever you are well done & thank you.
I will continue to encourage them to join the forums.
Glad to hear something positive about older players for a change.
If only every newbie was like your friends, I wouldn't have lost my temper yesterday because of some guy who kept refusing to read the rules and started, what I think was, swearing at me.
These two are good mates of mine too. Wish they'd contact me in game though. I've only run into Maz so far, and it's annoying considering our plans for <strike>universal domination</strike> subtle, intricate and immersive RP.
