Why exactly is the regular 'ol Nova torpedo stronger than the Super Nova Antimatter Cannon?
Has anyone ever noticed this?

Because the Nova is a lot harder to use, perhaps?...

Nova Torpedo is slower, harder to hit with it,can be shooted before reaches target.
And it is not unlimited like SNAC.

Doesn't damage battleship shields, takes a long time to start tracking, can be intercepted en-route, takes longer to reach the target, can easily kill team mates, has a minimum launching range...oh, and only has 70 shots vs the SN's infinite shots...

Not to mention the price tag the Torpedoes have.

What? I'm cheap!

Nova deals alot more damage, tracks, and takes less energy, so that you can fire 2 at once.

Come on! Be free!

I strongly suggest you attempt to employ one in combat. The results may surprise you.

Nova > SNAC in terms of firepower and power efficiency
SNAC > Nova in terms of price, ammo, ease of aim, chance to hit, less friendly fire, no interception, no suicide shots.

Thats my experience. Nova's have killed me more than I've hit anything else... so my accuracy ratio with it must be -80% or something.
