I'm currently thru Bretonian space, and I was wondering, where I can buy tractor beams? I forgot to transfer mine from my old ship:(

The tractor beam is your ID. You need to have a ID on your ship, as per server rules.

buy them on any major planet or base. to get a specific npc faction ID your reps need to be maxxed out (aka flashing gold ) with that faction.

there are general ones like civilian, freelancer, and neutral ID. if your under lvl 40, you only need the civilian one.

hmmm well Im just playing single player,

I know I started with one tractor beam, but I don't seem to be able to buy one in New Bretonia, unless I do some huge quantity's of missions to gain the "gold" reputation stuff...

Anyways I just restarted the game again:)
