Faction Description:
Stellar Corps Enterprises is a company that was founded by an enterprising IMG Captain by the same of Slias. The original aim of the company was to investigate the potential of mining and research operations outside of the usual IMG area of operations. Slias decided to only select a small number of IMG pilots, and set up a mobile base by modifying an Atlas Class Transport, which he named "StarReach". He then set off in a survey ship, to investigate potential places to set up a new mining operation.
After travelling far, and searching many neutral systems, he had a chance meeting with a Zoner in the Bering System. This Zoner's name was Leiaziar Sanai. Leiaziar was a native of Planet Erie, in the Pensylvania system, and when Slias told Leiaziar what he was looking for, Leiaziar's thoughts immediatly jumped to one possibility: The abundant supplies of Silver, Helium, Neon and other resources of his home system. Slias immediatly flew his survey ship to the system, and began recruiting miners to test out the viability of a mining operation in Pensylvania. After a few weeks, Slias decided this would be the place.
Meanwhile, Leiaziar had been hired by Slias as security, to protect his mining operations from pirates.
However, he soon discovered that Leiaziar had been misapropiating Stellar Corps funds to heavily outfit a Roc Bomber. He immediatly set of to Bethlehem station, to confront Leiaziar. When he walked into a small hangar on the station, he was shocked to see another of his employees, and several other locals there, along with several Eagles. He then looked over to the Roc, and saw Leiaziar taking a chained Xenos out of the cargo hold. He then questioned Leiaziar, and found that he had been using his position as a security worker and Stellar Corps resources to fund a small squadron with the aim of protecting not only the mining operation, but the entire Pensylvania system. Now, instead of immediatly firing them for misapropiation of resources (some would call it down right theft and abuse of power, not to mention their questionable treatment of captured criminals) he realised how effective such a group would be at defending his interests, and allowed the squadron to continue.
For those who do not want to read all that, or did not understand it
-Stellar Corps is a mining and research corp founded by a group of IMG with the intention of exploiting new sources of minerals and gases
-Stellar Corps security section has formed a rogue group, using their positions and siphoned funds to act as vigilantes, with the intention of protecting the Pensylvania system from any who would hurt or rob the local population (This group is called the Wings of Erie)
-Stellar Corps main area of operations is the Pensylvania system.
The OOC goals of Stellar Corps:
-Provide interesting rp oppurtunities for players in the Pensylvania system and possibly surrounding areas
-Recruit newer players, and give them the oppertunity to learn about discovery, rp and various other important stuff
-Help newer players make money

What the Stellar Corps essentially do:
Mine Helium, Silver and Hydrocarbons in Pensylvania
Conduct Research and surveying in Pensylvania
Conduct trade based in Pensylvania
Hire and train newer players
WoE:
Patrol Pensylvania, fighting criminals (and the aforementioned nomads)
Carry out offensive operations later on against nearby bases used by the Cartel
Protect Pensylvanians from Cardamine, Nomad Infestation and Slavery (contraband/nomads)
Any thoughts? Suggestions? We already have several interested players, some of them of a high rank.
My character is Leiaziar, and I have already been doing the vigilante thing in Penny, having so far encountered Lane Hacker, Outcast and Nomad players.
IMO viligante ID with Zoner IFF is very bewildering, because viligante is far from Zoner's idea (they keep open their station to everyone). I suggest you, choose another one IFF to this ID or use without IFF.
I support your OOC goals wholeheartedly. I think it is a great idea to have a faction stationed in Pennsylvania that will be role-playing there. Maybe more than one. It is, in my oppinion, the best way of educating new players on how to role play.

The reason for the zoner IFF is because, from reading the info on all the Penny Planets and Stations, the locals are zoners. The locals are also being continuosly harrassed by pirates. Also, we would keep the system open to anyone just like a freeport. Its just when you start trying to rob people or shoot people we would intervene, just as zoner npcs would if you started robbing or shooting them.
