I noticed something on the ALG mover in game. The description card lists the extra equipment (Where thruster capability would be.) as air fresheners. Funny and fitting. But it got me thinking about a possible equipment mod.

If it is possible to mod, how about a ship add-on that reduced radiation damage? Being that the Mover already has this technology internally for handling and containing waste. Obviously, it wouldn't have the same effect, being used in open space instead of a enclosed area. It could be played as tech adapted for waste removal in hazardous areas, extending work time. And I don't think it'd be something overly abused, but if so, could always make it ALG exclusive. Thoughts?

I don't think its possible, but if I'm wrong we should have to add Nomad ships to the list.

It could make for some interesting armor that way. Instead of all those fighters having the 2.5x armor, perhaps they could also use that 1.7x armor with extra radiation shielding?

Well it certainly makes sense.

At last the nomad morph can fly around without being killed by the radiation in unknownl.

Don't get your hopes up to quick, first someone has to post here saying they can do it or know a way it can be done, or that it can even be done in the first place.


EDIT: Okay so it can be done, its just a matter of finding someone who can be arsed to do it,

Well, I'm glad the idea is seems liked. Though I was thinking of it somehow being fitted to the CM slot, since the Mover isn't allowed one. It' being an external equipment. But that likely isn't possible, as you probably cannot exclude thrusters from the thrusters slot, and allow something else. But if it comes down to it, taking the armor slot would work too.

For Nomads, it would make complete sense. For them I would think it would be the highest resistance, maybe even immunity. But as Boss so cryptically said, some parties may be opposed to it. Though I am unsure why. It just doesn't seem like something that people could exploit. It's not a weapon shielding. If it were to be an FLhook plug-in, only the ships that it makes sense in RP to have, could use it correct?
