HI folks. I'm finally back with a LAN network, so I can play again!

I re-installed FL and downloaded the mod, but I'm running into a few issues.

When I try to run the DSUpdater, it tells me that dacom.dll is missing.
It's in the proper folder and Freelancer itself works fine, and I was able to connect and play on the server.

The second problem may be related. I don't see textures for the new ships, and when I'm in one everyone seems to be invisible, aside from their equipment.


EDIT: Ok, just the new ships are invisible. My own ship appears as a white blocky thing.

EDITMKII: Hah! I just had to increase my object detail. Now I feel like an idiot.

Seriously though, are you running the Freelancer.exe or the DSUpdate.exe?

Have you downloaded the final version of the mod? Also, we're back to starting the game via Freelancer.exe

Yeah, I downloaded the final version straight from igiss and installed it on a re-installed freelancer.

EDIT: Oh, ok so no dsupdater. That's one problem gone:D

I don't know if it's related, but I can't find any wireframes with hardCMP for those ships:(

New ships don't have a wireframe, only vanillas. Also, look for Sur and Cmp.

actually, doom's ships (which i know for definite) all have wireframes when you use the sub-select thingy to target thruster etc. and hopefully, soon mine too (learning how to do that)
