BouJou is a 3D motion tracking program. I am using it in a combination with Autodesk Maya.
I can track the footage and export it into Maya, but I was of the understanding BouJou would put 3D objects in the path of where it calculated obstructions.
For example:
A basketball court with fence polls in front of the camera.
Boujou would insert 3D objects resembling the polls masking the footage so that a CG object would look as if it was passing behind the polls, instead of looking as if the GC object was simply floating on top of the footage. I don't know....Like a CG animal playing basket ball on the court with other players.
I was given footage like that on a course I did, but the did not show me how to motion track it like that. They just said it was done in BouJou. I may have some aspects wrong though.
If anyone knows how to do that and/or can show me....I'm sure I can dig into my pocket and pull out some credits.
Thanks a million!
