I have been reading the laws of sirus and about various fines in liberty and penalties for crimes etc
Now It mentions contraband, slaves are menioned particularly, but I cannot see any other mention of what is infact contraband.
Is there a difinite list of what goods are illegal in Liberty and also what the LPI/Navy etc can ask you to drop and fine you for etc. I have seen various LPI asking ships to hand over pirates etc, is that correct
Secondly is there a list of players who have licenses to carry contraband etc. For example carry artifacts
Any pointers would be helpful as I have recently started an LPI character and I am uncertain as to the limits of my powers
Off the top of my head, slaves, artifacts, nomads, nomad brains, nomad technology, Gallic technology, cardamine, liquid cardamine, cryocubes, Gaian Wildlife, and synthetic marijuana are contraband, as well as anything coming from Rheinland or Gallia. People may ask you to hand over pirates for "interrogation" and hand over Liberty agents (LPI, LN, etc.) to "rescue and re-initiate".
I really think Artifacts should be removed since it was almost entirely (from what I've gathered) the acts of the Nomad-infested Sirius governments to try and limit the dissemination and observation of the ancient bits and pieces.
Now they should really just be the equivalent of a Ming Dynasty vase (/cliche).
Yeah, it is, but can the scanners differentiate between it and legitimately sold ammunitions? I mean, you can buy nukes at the local Kwiki mart, it seems.
Also, no point in roleplaying that it's something else... for instance, that cardamine is medical supplies, when it seems that everybody's scanners can actually tell them what I had for dinner three days ago, where are malfunctions on my ship's engines, and what is that particular color of green on my ship's aft dorsal section.
