New Haven Flight School Thread

This is an open thread to any and all who wish to join the New Haven Flight School that I will attempt to start on the Discovery server. Please note, I am a rubbish pilot, and will not be an instructor.

EDIT: Now then, just an afterthought for those who wish to stay in RP, or are worried for RP implications, for the sake of having a fun time on this server, in and maybe out of roleplay, ANYONE is welcome, bring a ship, bring a patient and a good mood as a bonus. As suggested earlier, this may turn into a small faction, not official in anyway, shape or form. Think of this is a combat orientated Angels or something. But for the love of turkey testicles, don't use this system as an escape from the Liberty Lawfuls or unlawfuls, in the spirit of the school, I deem it that WE WILL NOT help you escape RP fights.

Here are the objectives of the flight school:

• To lay down the basic role-play principles prior to engaging in PvP affairs. (In RP, call it fighting etiquette)
  
• To teach basic engine kill manoeuvres
  
• Bomber training against fighters, also known as jousting
  
• To teach efficient cruise disruptor tactics against missiles, mines and engine kill tactics
  
• How a super heavy fighters should combat bombers without jousting
  
• Gunboat against fighter training
  
• Solidify the basic PvP rules of the server, aka No re-engagement.
  
• Improve fighter skill as a whole
  
• Upon suggestion, we can also teach players how to evade pirates as a trader
  
• Have fun!
  

That is the objectives of the New Haven Flight School that can be opened in Connecticut.

However, we need pilots, both students and as instructors. We can't have a school without able teachers.

To anyone who wishes to join, instructor or student! Sign up here! I'll attempt to compile a list. Oh and Admins, if your reading this, jump in too!! We can have a "How to fight an ADMIN ship" day or something!

EDIT: There is no cost but the need to pay for your own munitions, but then again that is my choice, not others. Donate at your own discretion.

Factions are not my forte, not to mention factions need money, and trading is not my favourite thing.

You do raise a good point though, let me start trading with my undead Mr Springfield...

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

I'd be happy to apply as a freighter flight instructor if such a division ever exists. In which i'd be happy to teach:

• Pirate/Hunter avoidance and threat evasion
  
• Basic maneuvers and manual shipyard docking
  
• Advantages in suitable vessels for each cadet
  

Feel free to keep me shortlisted if you ever feel such a syllabus or teaching programme may have a place in your flight school.
