OK I'mm sure I'm going to be yelled for saying this BIG time but I still feel though I should say it, after all, I have the right to free-speech. And please, don't make me feel guilty for pointing out my point of view, I always feel guilty after doing something like this because of the way people write their replies.

I don't not like Independents at all. I do not trust them. I know some people may say its going against someone's RP, but here's what I think.

Can you justify an independent police officer? No. The police department anywhere would have them arrested, and if they continue after being bailed, they'd probably get a sentence.

However, in DiscoFL, I see independents everywhere. I chose to treat them as stupid freelancers really, and here why, in the real world, they would get arrested.

Now I respect vigilante's, because they admit there not a cop. But I don't respect indie Navy or police, because the people who join the official faction, have gone through the training or questionaire or psycholi- basically, they get accepted into the real deal, where as indie's just go around killing 500 NPC's and feel proud of it, and subsequently buy a Navy ID or whatever.

Some of them don't even know server rules properly, and guess what, in the official Navy faction, theres a whole questionairre on that. If you get a few wrong, you don't get it. Most, and yes, from my experience, most of these indie's don't know them.

Now I wold celebrate a day where it becomes necessary to join an Official faction and indie's become illegal. But I do realise that day will never come. I still thought it was ok to post my point of view.

If indies were made illegal, it would kill the server, it would kill RP as a whole. Shouldnt people have the right to choose their RP?

As for some of them not knowing the rules, either talk to them or report them.

I have only 1 charachter out of 13 in an official faction (Bowex), all the others, including my battleship are independant, because it gives me more flexable RP oppertunities, now, would you say that i should be forced to join all my charachters into factions, killing everything i have done? Also, there are so many more good indies around, its just that concentrating on bad things often obscures your vision to the good.

I don't' like indie military, Like Indie Navy or LSF everything else is fine, but banning ones who are not in a faction is excessive, but i would limit what they can use.

By your method , if I were like you , I would treat (most) faction members as elitist tards who hate everyone without a random combination of letters before their name. And then I would come to the forums and yapp about all factions needing to be disolved because it inspires elitism and seperates people inside the server.

Oh , and yea , you do have your right to express your point of view , just as much as I have my right to express how idiotic I think your point is.

no but for real, indies chars by members on the forum we usually don' t have problem with okey, but why is that? OH cuz they are on the forums and keep up to date with events and rules. Which is why I would set a limit for the indie navys and suggest strongly that they get in the forums.
