Not that I normaly bother myself with Libertonian affairs, apparently I'm now a part of it.
Now then, Taffic is it? We do need to talk on private comms. Old member or no, you stepped down and the Congress has restructured in your absence. While the crew of the base will still remember you and take your orders, that base is now under my juristiction as per the decicion of the Congress' new leaders.
Also, Christopher Thorn. Mr Unusual is not an Arbiter at all, he is just a concerned Junker like yourself, who happens to have had the foresight or luck to be part of the Congress. Even if he is a kid I see alot of the effort he puts into keeping us informed and in keeping the congress up to date, I personally find him invaluable. How long you have been a Junker or part of any organisation within the Junkers does not give anyone the right to talk down to anyone else. What is not acceptable is people claiming ownership or responibility in matters that are not thiers to take charge over. I will be talking to Taffic about this in the hopes we can come to an agreement or compromise, but MrUnusual was right to question the authority of somone he has never heard of.

The Congress was created as a tool to link different Junker communities together & make deliberations on global matters. At its core it was a representative body that listened to Congressmen and normal Junkers alike to best determine a course of action for the future. To maintain the individuality of the regions (& for logistical purposes) the Arbiters were wisely set up by Tinkerbell, who had the foresight to appreciate what blanket decision making from Puerto-Rico could never reflect the needs of individual bases. I (& quite a few others), were always concerned that this could be twisted to be a control mechanism instead. When we talk I want assurances that Congress still cherishes these noble ideals and that it listens, rather than dictates.
Dont take my actions as a slight McMillan; Trafalgar is my home, Junkers are my family & I protect what I care about.

Salutations;
I will be brief on the matters at hand here.
The original topic at hand: Individual Rogue, Outcast, and Lane Hacker vessels are to be removed either directly or through a hired proxy if they are seen harming Junker vessels. Most of these bastards have used our bases in the past. Did they think we wouldn't hear about it? Did they think we wouldn't do anything? Mr. Thorn, we appreciate your informing us of this matter. Be assured that they will be dealt with; they appear to have made it a special point to not do this with Congress vessels around, let alone to Congress vessels. They do not understand that we operate for the good of all Junkers.
Legacy Junkers: Their actions have made them a detriment to our goals rather than an asset. They are outside our protection and representation. Mr. Mort, make necklaces of teeth of them if you have a mind to do so and you will hear no objection from me.
Taffic and McMillan: Taffic is the old Adjudicator, he has always been about Trafalgar. He has been in and out of the Congress and was a major player in its operation since before Founder Tinkerbell went public with its current incarnation. He would have been my first choice for heading up Bretonia operations all those years ago. In his absence I nominated McMillan, who has himself proven an excellent choice and deserving of the trust and responsibility involved. You two need to work together rather than snipe at each other; this is not a power struggle. You are assets to one another.
Taffic's Concerns: The Congress has changed in its designation. In older times matters were simpler. The Congress has come to be recognized as a unified body and is treated as such. Be assured that its expanded purpose is for the benefit of all Junkers, Congress and non-congress alike; with the exception of those who would undermine the standing and reputation of those who still seek to carve out a free living making use of what has been abandoned.
Mr. Thorn: The Junker with the 'MrUnusuall' subnet handle is young, but has proven his mettle, loyalty, and intelligence time and again. These are principles I would deem more important to serving our organization than sheer longevity. I will ask you to consider this when dealing with him again or I will start calling you names in turn. And people listen to me.
Ah...the joy of politics. Fortunately the Wild and Nomads require none. Well stated Mr. Taffic regarding the Congress and a good response as usual Arbiter.
My reasons for removing myself from the Congress were varied:
It was clear that my desire to defeat the Wild was seen as obsessive and was difficult for Junkers not practiced at Yanagi to understand. It is more expedient that I head a private effor not politically beholden to continue my pursuit of this goal.
I also had the greater concern that Gallia lay unvaccinated regarding the Wild-Nomad threat and felt it imperative to begin working directly with Gallic Junkers--unencumbered by non-Gallic obligations.
Finally--it was and is necessary for any true movment to be greater than a single leader. Junkers now cast their own die on the fate of the Congress and its future. If they hold tru to the core purpose, they will emerge greater. If not, they will become simply another Junker cooperative. The future will tell.
As for myself, I maintain the same vision and in time we will see if we all unite. I am of course always avaialable to assit other Junker efforts as best I can and particularly working in Gallia where Monsieur Niska has been an invaluable help to me.
Good luck in the resolution of these matters gentlemen.
