' Wrote:If you need to convert images I suggest using XnView, it's a light-weight general purpose image viewer with lots of functions for batch processing, highly customizable. Also useful for modders due to DDS display support.
The thing for me is that most of my pics are for the wiki and need to be edited a little. But it might be a good alternative for some ppl.

Well, I took a class on (VERY BASIC) python and we used this program called JES that has a built-in image converter.
I wrote this code which basically goes through a folder and converts all Bitmaps to PNG format.
Now when I want to mass convert for a message dump, I make a folder in the FreelancerShots folder. For example, say it's named "patrol."
Then I load the code in JES and run to_pngs('patrol','patrol_image') in the console, where "patrol_image#' will be the names of the output images where # goes from 1 to the number of images in the folder.
Upload the pngs, then profit!
Of course, this still takes time. You have to make a folder, put images in it, load the program, and run the command. If someone found a right-click-conversion tool that is compatible with mass selection I would be a happy panda.
Try using ImageMagick. It's a command-line tool but it is very straightforward. For example, to convert an image you would run 'convert screen.bmp screen.png', and the program would convert the bmp file to a png. It doesn't look like you can convert multiple items at once with it, but you could probably manage it with a simple batch script in Windows. If you really do want something that is as simple as right-click, there is something here but it's paid software ~$50. I suppose it all comes down to how much time you spend converting images:)
