..:[A] and [C] battles once more:..
The battle of the end of the Universe.
Long ago, in the first age of the server (read, 4.75 and the Moscow server), a group of players formed the very first factions on here. The Alliance and the Coalition.
Almost everybody of the first ones joined one of the sides. And then some player switched sides to balance the factions (as alliance had like 3 times more people than coalition) And then, the battle events began.
It was fun. the battles were pre-programmed events, and balanced as well. But then, after players begun making their own RP factions (Read, the AW, then RM, then SDF, etc...), the powers that were ended the [A] and [C] factions.
The time passed. The factions forgotten... Many new RP factions formed and crumbled... Some lasted, some not. And for almost two years the old factions were forgotten...
Now, a shadow rises over the server... it menaces us all... The end of the universe as we know it! The time has now come...
I want to recreate the factions to make the last battle of this era. The battle of the end of the Universe! I propose that we do that big event again!
I will lead the Coalition forces. I need a leader for the Alliance (To be elected by A people among the candidates), and a second in command. Who will be selected among the best players that join to the Coalition.
Everybody is free to join. Sign up here (Forum name, char name, side you choose and ship), and create a ship with [A] (for alliance) or [C] (for coalition) tag. All ships are allowed.
So hurry up to set up a char for this. Time is on the essence. And it will happen only once.
The place for the battle will be Omicron Theta. It all begun there... There it will end!
It will happen according to what is decided on this poll. If we are still here. (Time of the event can be moved if necessary)
The event will begin this way. The two fleets are in opposite systems. There is one system in common that connects to this two systems... As the battle begins, both fleets jump in and begin seeking each other.
Engagements can be in any way the team likes. No need to drive both fleets to each other.
Every time a player is killed, (s)he spawns at the station on his base system. The player cannot reenter the battle system until the battle is ended. Last fleet standing wins.
This is the list of people who already joined:

Interesting. But unfortunately I won't be able to make it. I will be coming home late Sunday from a camping trip and will probably be to dead to play. But I might be able to make it.:(
the yamato will gladly join you. However it's a shame we don't have the original ships use in starlancer would give it a better feel. Anyways which battle do you have in mind? I'm only on 12th mission with 150 kills to my name:)
If I can make it, well I guess I'll arm a CSV to the teeth. j/k
If I can make it I'll be making both [C]Nightfall and [A]Nightfall gonna join the side with less players, unfortunately, the coalition already has 3 of the best pilots here. Ship.. no idea, fighters for me.
One thing more, make the tags be red to each other, easier to see who's friend or foe dunno, like Alliance having one tag (say police) and the Coalition having (Rogues), they're both there to get in NY, should be easy to get.
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
