Was just wondering if there was going to be a VHF for the Brigand, Maquis, or any unlawful Gallic fraction? seems only the Gallic Navy have them, if its true and most of the Brigand were ex-navy and such they should very well have VHF's???

I really really hope that it stays as just the GRN having VHFs
it's nice to see a place were people actuall fly heavy fighters and not very heavy fighters

besides, being ex-navy doesn't mean you get a better ship when you join the other side
and by the way, I'm pretty sure that they are ex-cops not navy

Nowhere are the Brigands conveyed as having the majority of their populace ex-naval personnel.

Regardless, the GRN is supposed to be the highest-tech faction within Gallia, but the Gallic HF's can stand up to the Lynx pretty well from what I've seen.

Gallia is not complete, expect more systems to come in 4.86 with more bases and possibly more vessels.

Quite honestly, the Gallic HF's fare quite well against their VHF counterparts. It's simply a matter of balancing your loadout. The real issue is that you get NPC raped in a class such as that. Even worse, you want to fly across a system, but are intercepted, and your journey is 10 times as long.

Note to self: Never, never, never ever set a waypoint and alt-tab to check skype/forums while in gallia.

From my side it is not planned to spend Brigands and UC an VHF. This top gear is for military. Me even do not like the Eagle as one of the top VHF's in Sirius available for all. VHF's should be available only for house military as well as Corsairs and Outcasts imho. Nomads and Wild is a different matter.
Addition for Brigands and to use for UC will be a medium transport to close the gap between Courier and l'Ane.
A destroyer as biggest ship is also planned.

You're joking. Oh wait, i forgot the Brigands are controlling 75% of the Gallian Black Market. Yes they could be able to build a Dessie.
A reason for the Brigands not to have a VHF in RP could be their hit and run tactics. There's also a rumor about that if you kill one Brigand ship in a larger group, all others would run away. Of course, NPC's don't act like that.

Also, the Maquis are hardcore Council, if you can say so. They use Council tech, and the Council has to rely on older ships. The Council also does apparently not have the ressources to build new vessels, so they have to use older and abandonned GRN vessels. The Council also might be loosing the second Gallian War, seeing as how many systems belong to the Royal Gallia. Of course, it might be that the Council has something hidden in the Gallic core, which we do not see yet. Now seeing that the Council ships are older, maybe it was originally a VHF in the GRN, but now with time has been downgraded towards a HF as technology advances.

In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
