Author ID: Lieutenant H. Matthews, Liberty Navy, commanding officer of the gunboat Interdictor
Subject: Blockade runners
Having recently been promoted to Lieutenant and given the command of the Interdictor, under Commodore Carruthers of the Mississippi, I have found my usual task of maintaining the trade embargo to be more daunting than it first seemed. A Zoner Juggernaught was the most recent vessel to run the blockade, making no effort to submit to a full cargo scan, though an initial scan detected a large quantity of luxury goods. Following that incident, among others, it has become clear that the task of maintaining it must fall to others at times. Thus, after taking advice from Commodore Carruthers, I shall be compiling a list of those vessels which run the blockade so that they may be dealt with by other Liberty forces. Visual evidence shall be provided wherever possible.

The 'Asgard' has made repeated attempts to bypass the blockade while hauling Rheinland engine components. The pilot is of limited communicative ability, managing only to sound off the letters 'w', 't', and 'f', but is quite capable of making use of cruise engines and attempting to evade a Navy gunboat when a simple request is made.
Jack_Torrance has run the blockade and openly admitted to being a blockade runner. Camera evidence available upon request.
Nuetralizer has run the blockade at least three times.

Steviedee was seen hauling a vast load of cardamine. //And speed-docked on Houston when caught.//
Insomnis flew straight past Houston with a load of cardamine. CDs were all out.
It is seemingly insufficient to just depend upon nearby Liberty forces to intercept any blockade runners. Often, the message takes too long to reach them, and it is not clear exactly what is happening. A dedicated wing, it has been decided, would help with this issue. If any pilots are interested in being assigned to such a wing, they should reply to this transmission.
