Too much people are using missiles as their main weapon, not using any skill other then the ability to mash their Q key for a bazzilion times.
My opinion is, Missiles are used to cause damage to the opponent before they come into your weapon'srange. Say, make class 10 missiles with 500 shield damage, larger tracking and 10k range.
Basically, you can deshield an enemy before they come into range and the hull damage is not large enough to be counted on. Use the same setting as the nova torpedos, with the fire delay, so the missiles cannot be used up close, where guns come into play.
Maybe dont replace all missiles like this, but add new one's. Lancer missile, Moonstalker. Other weak ones.
Nope don't like it the level of "Fair," goes to the highest bidder...or in this case longer man stick......
second thought I would like to have longer range missiles that way i don't ever have to risk getting hit just keep droppiin shields while my friend take out his hull wonderful idea.

500 shield damage wouldn't help when by the time you launch your next missile they have already regen

Dunno what i've found while making my gundam mod that missiles of longer range have to have a delay tracking to a least 3.8k( if 10k shot with a fairly fast speed missile) if you wanna hit. If it tracks too soon it will over correct and miss....assuming the target is moving. Also to hit anything it must be a faster missile slow missiles will never hit the target from that distance.
