A question has surfaced in the Phantom Feedback thread, which I thought needed the attention of both sides of the situation. It takes two to tango, in this case.
' Wrote:Ok, a ton of pages showed up and I missed several, but this is the general issue I've always had with the Phantoms and the idea that everyone fears them.
Many, many factions, particularly the unlawful ones, are in a conflict with an entire House. Even the smaller ones. So that means they would only really need to fear the Phantoms if the Phantoms were stronger than a House (otherwise, they wouldn't be tops on the worry about list). And if they ARE stronger, why have they yet to do anything? Even their major attack on Cambridge seems to be less than what a group of Corsairs did to Cork.
It just seems incongruous overall.

About the hand holding with all pirates, I've always assumed that the unlawfuls/pirates are more scared/wary of angering the Phantoms than they are of the lawfuls. Still like Virus says, I'm surprised that some groups haven't tried to push them out. There's lots of RP opportunity between much of the pirates and Phantoms.
So, your faction has listed the Phantom empire as either friendly, allied, or neutral, or failed to mention the Phantoms, who are widely known as rather horrid, dangerous blokes, who may well call down reprisals from the house, or other houses, or even the corporations which might otherwise aid you.
A number of us are wondering what the rp justification for aiding such a dangerous group of maniacs is.

Well if it were my option, I would make them completley hostile and kill them on sight, seeing as I can't find any reason why the Blood Dragons would allow them to be friendly, allied OR neutral. They are currently listed as neutral, but I'm trying to push for a change.
But however, if I were to make them hostile, I would need to organise something with the phantom leader, whoever that is. I have not yet met the phantoms properly (rping with them) on my Blood Dragon yet, but I can assure you, when that does happen, I will definatley find some sort of diplomatic arrangement with them.
If it means anything at all, I've encountered a phantom before. A phantom cruiser actually. Me and a friend were sitting on the lane and he happened to get cut off when we knocked down the lane.. but he didn't seem to care. Me and my fellow ]bd[ were RPing being scared (wouldnt you be scared of a phantom cruiser?!) and he didn't seem to care, he actually acted friendly with us.
Well this may be the case, but why would the Blood Dragons, within RP, actually care about the phantoms? If anything, we are paranoid about alien intruders coming into Kusari - after all, we wouldn't want another Governor Tekagi.
The reason the Phantoms are "neutral" with all blood dragons is because they do not come around us we do not go around them also way back in the day we make a deal with them if we leave them alone they leave us alone.
Equanimitee has passed on the leadership of the Dragons to me. I am endorsed by Pipboy and Husker, the current Shoguns.
We are just deciding now the correct way to implement the transition. The new Taishogun will be more reclusive, in the style of Japanese Emperors in the past. He will be primarily a forum presence.
For the forseeable future, it will be 'business as usual' for the Dragons.
