Subject: Pirating Zoners in Omega-49
Greetings Omega Pirates Guild,
For years, the Order has allied with you and the rest of the Corsair Empire for aid against the Nomads and the Bounty Hunters Guild Core. Although we do not approve of your acts of piracy, we have seen Planet Crete's situation and therefore, we understand why you have turned to piracy all those years ago when you first encountered the other Houses. However, recent events regarding your acts of piracy against the Zoners in Omega-49 have been brought to our attention and, as a result, have deeply concerned us.
As you know, the Zoners are another one of our closest allies who provide us with vital shipments of food, raw materials, and supplies. However, your recent acts of piracy against the Zoners in Omega-49, a key system in the supply trade route leading to the Omicrons, have alarmed many officials from the Zoner factions and now they are considering redirecting many convoys away from the Omicrons, including Omicron Minor and Delta. Without enough convoys heading to Omicron Delta, we face the risk of suffering severe supply shortages, since we purchase most of our supplies from Freeport 11 in Omicron Delta.
Due to the war against the Nomads and the Bounty Hunters Guild Core, this is absoulutely unacceptable. Therefore, I implore you, please allow the Zoner convoys to pass through Omega-49 and supply our front lines in Omicron Delta and Minor. If you must pirate in the Omegas, I strongly urge you to relocate your raiding parties, perhaps to Omega-3 and 7. I hear the Brotherhood frequently raid these areas. Maybe you can join them.
Sincerely,
Colonel Eric McCormick

To dear Colonel Eric McCormick, Order Diplomacy. We are sorry but your message was filtered trough junk inbox we get daily and because of such was not seen by our officials until now.
Please forgive us that we have pirated your allies. We had no idea that they are your allies. We thought they were neutral to you, as well as they are to everyone else in border worlds.
Perhaps it has all been a mistake. And I have decided to stop pirating Zoners with their non Corsair shipments while they're passing trough our territory. Since we got this out of our system, there is noone to bring us our supplies now, and noone to steal them from. Thus I hope Order can start supplying our planets and bases with approx 100k tons of food and medical supplies a day. In your carriers. While we train your troops. Because our pilots are more skilled.
So, to sum it up. Piracy on zoners carrying deuterium will start as soon as Order pilots start to fly in food on their own.
It is such an pleasure also to see that you are willing to jeopardize your relations with allies to save the one you have with an neutral faction.
//yeah um. I'm staying in rp with that as i was trying to prove that corsairs should mean more to them. Ally of my ally isn't my ally. So they are free to respond, and start bringing us food. But then again, you can give them alaska dock codes and see how rest of sirius reacts to that

//On an OOC note, what exactly does [OPG] do for The Order?
//They aren't related at all. But OPG is a Corsair nation and Corsairs do train the Order pilots in exchange for co-existance and order technology. We're not here to revise the Order - Corsair alliance, that was done recently and it got nowhere. Order should work towards securing safe shipments of deuterium towards their bases, and that can be achieved by many way. Asking allies to sacrifice their potential future food shipments isn't one of them.

//So that means the Zoners provide more than you do, does it not? (Making them "better" allies.)
//it's like saying that adding more fuel to a car will make it turn better in corners no matter how sucky the driver is.
It is written in game that Corsairs are best pilots out there. That might not be supported in rp because frankly, you can't just get auto awesome if you join corsairs, but the fact is that we're needed.
And if you think that makes your Zoner char a better ally to your Order char, I don't mind that. Lets see what will it cook up. And hey, who says we dont haul that deut to Order when we pirate it? <_< >_>
