Heya mate, I've just gotten back to the world (for a bit), I'll toss in some requests and reccomendations in a bit.
To the "the old ships look cool though!" lot, I know. I like them a lot too, but the simple fact is, we cannot balance them to a standard where a reasonable pilot can fight in one. I've taken down multiple Titans in a scimmy before, and it's a stretch to take down one in the Insurgent, never mind the partisan. If we balance the stats enough to make the models work, we'd look like cheating, metagaming blighters, and I'm of the opinion that's not the way to go.

Mkay. Judging on what you've posted I'm going to say this: The models are simple. They need...details. Beyond that, the engine ports are poorly textured and misshapen. The grille texture is stretched and warped, and the engines themselves are just weird shapes; it honestly looks kind of lazy, like you couldn't be arsed to make a proper engine. I mean, it has that little outset off to the side - what's the purpose of that? The concepts aren't bad, but they're stretched, misshapen, and simple - you can go into a lot more detail, I think. Also, those knife-thin edges around the intakes and stuff like that just don't work - consider using square insets for a border instead of just extruding and outlining straight back.

Russian stuff is simple. It's utilitarian. It's not meant to be extravagant or beautiful. Just look at T-34's. Also seen Russian armored cars? Russians aren't about flare, it's about function.

There's a difference between looking utilitarian and looking slipshod. You can have a gorgeous model that looks like it just got flattened by JDAM IIIs, but only if it's supposed to look like that.

I think these ships will appeal more to those who have played StarLancer because then they'll see a better comparison between these ships and the Coalition Basilisk.
Honestly, I don't see what's wrong with them. They look fine to me.
