Prometheus[Harvester_24] has been sanctioned owing to a report posted on the 4, September 2009 for:
Quote:3.1 Using coarse language, posting abusive, hateful, racist content in chat, public or private, is prohibited under any circumstances.
3.2 Flaming, threats and insulting (in any form) other members, factions, server administrators in chat, public or private, is prohibited on server and on forums. RP-related threats are allowed on the server.
3.4 Out-of-character (OOC) chat should not be used for system chat, except in emergencies. Fines will be levied according to the severity of the offence, and the number of times it has occurred.
Consequences: Stripped all credits and guns. In addition it has been determined that the example that you are presenting by your personal conduct in game is not within the standards that we associate with the privileged of a special ID or other request.
As such your AI ID has been removed and special RP status revoked.
I expect to see the proof of the accusations against me. I am well aware you say you need to "ask" permission to show them, but why should an Admin ask. Does the accused not have the right to see what is being used against them? I think so and i want to see what is being used against me that is costing me more than just mere credits and guns.
I'd like to know what some one is saying is course language or some other term that would deserve such an action. I want to see what they claim is flaming or threatening. As fo the OOC, that too I want to see and why if I had said something in OOC it was considered breaking the rules.
Since supposedly this all centers around OOC or somethign I would have said and not an In Character thing, I want to know exactly Why it is costing me the AI ID and my Special Character RP.
OH, and before I forget, I want to know why the Sanction report I Posted more than a few days ago is not showing up or some one asking me about it as Has been done before?
The subject of your standard of special RP and your ID have been the subject of an Admin discussion for some time now - Your name has crossed our desk so many times with so many examples of OOC that we considered with this last report that enough was enough.
The fact that you have to ask why OOC is against the rules clearly states that you either dont know or dont understand the rules themselves - you had a special ID and had been granted a special RP request - As such we expect you, as we would expect all players who have these things, to consistantly show a high standard Role Play - you have not done this.
As for your sanction report "not" being processed - I have said this both publicly and privately now so many times im tired of saying it - but ill say it again - 1)They take time, 2)sometimes the evidence shown is ambiguous so we need to discuss it 3)Sometimes the evidence presented is not enough in our views and as such the report is not actioned and 4)Sometimes we get SO many that the whole proceedure takes longer than it usually would.
That answered, if this discussion here is to continue lets keep it on point.
Following the sample link I was given i was able to see many more and likely all the ones used against me.
I begin to see what few very select screen shots of any OOC that I had used is being used against me. What i find interesting is the complete and total lack of any of teh PM's prior to those OOC's as well as the one single one where I annouced my intention to file a report for their action against me.
The fact I see where suddenly there are a lot of Screen shots of the PM's well after the fact is not reasonable enough to me that they show none of the ones that i sent before hand and where they completely ignored me.
Unfortunately I do not have proof myself, but I do believe it was once said there is a running message log (huge as it can get) of everything said on the server by everyone. I am not telling you have to go hunting, but I know I tried to message one of the people involved before hand.
I also notice a pair of videos under the location, both related to me under two different characters and situations, one of them being a prior Sanction report that an Admin contacted me about.
More to say as I needed or my brain can come up with.
I just cannot look at that, I told this on Skype and i will tell you this here. Yes i was not the one who filed the report.. but i sure as hell was involved.
You sir are acting as a child. And your attitude ruins gameplay for others around you.. Not just me.. but others.. Your actions also give us rest of the harvesters a bad name.
Take a break think about what you are doing and what you want to do if you decide to keep playing here.. because i really was not as happy as some might think to see you get sanctioned.. but i did not see any other solution.. I tried to talk to you.. and you just ignore and lock yourself in a small box believing that everyone around you against you and your char.
So no.. I did not sent this report.. i did send the one before when you just shoot me without a damn reason.. because you were mad.. because the RP of a rogue did not suite your needs.
If you are unhappy playing why play at all? if you log in with a sore face to give others the feeling of sadness, please dont.. we are not interested (at least i am not)
Cinder, please note Laowai's message. The removal of your status was not the result of this sanction, it was the result of a culmination of weeks of deliberation and repeated, despite counseling, offenses to the most basic rules of player conduct on this server. Let alone what we would expect of someone who wishes to stand above the common player.
Your argument, in addition to your delightful new sig, do not compel me to feel that we were incorrect in this course of action. Blanketing local with rule lawyering and occ banter, let alone other acts of curious conduct are not within the lines of what we would expect of you.
