The South Alliance wishes to help in resolving this dispute between two of our dearest friends. We hope both parties shall allow the SA to mediate this conflict so that both can step back from the abyss. Overall, the SA asks this favor for we do not relish the thought of choosing between two steadfast-friends.
In essence, will both parties state their positions and allow the SA to judge the merits?
We wanted the KSP pilots back. We did not get them back. We sent in our allies who offered to get them back. Said allies got said KSP pilots back. We declared hostilities because of the sheer fact that the High Council of FEAR did not ever address the problem, even after a good long waiting time that exceeded four days.
As I said in a recent entry to the datalinks, we're willing to get neutrality again. But if the FEAR don't respond...
It is always a delight to speak with you and, as always, you are clear, concise, and cogent in your positions. Though the SA has maintained a distance from this confrontation it does not mean we have not kept up with events. Our purpose here is to help convince all to take the events seriously and provide a conduit for reduction of tension, which you have abundantly shown a willingness to pursue. We hope to ellict the same from our friends the FEAR.

I must confide to you that I cannot see why the SA puts up with FEAR. They captured many Kusari Policemen under the guise of murder, and then, upon our insistent requests, did nothing but ignore us! We were willing to listen to both sides of the story, but extradition of criminals to the respective House government would have helped their standing immensely. We did not, and still do not, believe a fair trial would have been given, and thus, asked our acquaintances, SiN|Tech, to aid in the Kusari Policemen's rescue. Said rescue went off without major problems, and while I am still looking into how exactly SiN|Tech did it so quickly... well, I am still gracious that the policemen were returned safely.
Which brings me back to the origin of this letter. And I wish it to be public, so that FEAR can comment. Why does the SA bother with the FEAR? They claim to be something akin to 'legal pirates', and yet they are little more than opportunistic thieves, preying on the weak or ill-defended. To me, they are honorless.
But I will take away these foul words if the FEAR can prove me wrong. Let them take up my challenge to respond within a timely manner! Let them come and show me up!
Or, let them come and declare war, and their false words that they were ready for peace, only for war to rage on. I do not wish for this, but from the past...

To add most alarming confusion to the situation, the Kusari Government has announced all pilots were rescued in a raid by the SiN|tec organisation. Newscasts of relieved families greeting their loved ones has been broadcast on interplanetary communications.
I'm not sure what the leader of the F.E.A.R. group is referring to when he uses the phrase 'shotgun diplomacy' as the only reference I can find in the Kusari encylopedea/dictionary for 'shotgun' is an "obsolete device designed to kill rabbits" which makes no sense to me. For one thing I have not yet seen a 'rabbit' and, judging by it's fearsome description, do not want to.
I will leave this puzzling matter in more capable hands.
