Phil is the only son of a wealthy business tycoon.
As a child he was treated to all the best money could buy, clothing, food, medical care and education, but as he grew up, his attitude towards the corporate lifestyle started to change, slowly at first, but it
soon accelerated when he met and fell in love with a young waitress who came from a lower class working
family.
His mother and Father tried every means to dissuade him from seeing the girl, even offering a
large bribe for her to move far away from Los Angeles.
The girl's family, eager to boost their financial status, came to an arrangement with Jason's
family, but the girl wasn't having any of it and she ran away from home, obviously Phil's family were
delighted until they discovered that he had gone too.
In order to get him back home, the family hired bounty hunters to find him, after all, he had an
extensive knowledge of corporate affairs, something his father didn't want being made public.
So where was he, was the girl with him? the contract simply said, "find my son, do as you want with the
girl"
But, they weren't together, in desperation, Phil had gone to find her, she'd already left the planet
according to one of her waitress friends.
At first, Phil used his contacts via encrypted communications to loyal friends, but he soon realised they
were now targets too.
And so began his adventures into the shadier side of life and finally he learnt of her whereabouts, she'd
been working on luxury liners using various names until one day she was abducted and sold into slavery
where she committed suicide.
Embittered by all this, he left the house systems for good, vowing one day to avenge her death, but first
he needed a safe haven, so he took up the Zoner lifestyle in the Omicron systems under the name of Jason
Varne.
However, contact with Slavers and wary of bounty hunters was hard to accept until he was approached by a ZAS member, and now his story truly begins.
